Skills competition rules and Regional Comp. changes
The MFCA Skills Competition Rules have been updated
To view the rules go to: http://www.miniaturefootball.org/sit...fm?pageID=1269 or you can download them all in Word document form at: http://users.anytimeweb.com/Clients/...on_Packet2.doc The only major changes to the rules are: Tie breaker scenarios for each event. The TDQ and the TDK are now allowed. Regional Skills Event Changes Because of the distances between leagues and the cost of travel these days we have decided to forgo the 7 Regional events for this year and open up the skills competition to all leagues who have at least 4 members who are paid MFCA Members. The skills events must be scheduled with the MFCA at least 3 weeks prior to holding the event and must be scheduled before July 1, 2009. This gives us time to make sure you have the proper equipment, training and awards to hold the event. Only MFCA members can compete in these events all though you can open it up to the rest of your league members, however, they will not be eligible to receive the MFCA medals. Winners of each leagues skills competitions will qualify for the National Skills Event to be held at Stow, Ohio, August 7-9, 2009. There will be an additional official MFCA National Skills event held in conjunction with the Miggle Convention in January. We may also schedule other National Skills events as the year progresses.
