Default Coach of the Year

In our local League (Harrisburg Buzzball Leagues - Pro and College) once I make up the schedule I predict the outcome of the season before week 1 of the schedule. I predict who will win and who will lose. Almost every year a certain coach rises to the top that I did NOT predict and that makes my decision a no-brainer for the COach of the Year. There have been times when I did predict the season pretty close to what actually happened. At that point I look at who is the biggest surprise that lived up to my predictions. That is actually my favorite award to decide and hand out at the conclusion of every regular season.

Default So it is...

A one man decision - only you decide?

The other coaches don't vote or give input/feedback via polling, etc...?

Default Nope

No because I'm a control freak and I don't let anyone in my League say anything. LOL!

Actually, any of them could possibly win it and I'm not in the running for the award so that's why I do it. Usually every year it's a no brainer anyway. Once in a while it's between two coaches and we have been known to give the award to both coaches.

Default

In my solitaire league, I have been selected Coach of the Year 4 out of the last 5 years.
(Sorry Rock Solid, I had to steal your line but I knew you hadn't copyrighted it yet!)

The TAEFL doesn't have a COTY. Maybe someday when we dig up a few more bodies.
