2009 Paint/Custom Contest-Jan 19 Deadline
Start making your paint/custom entries NOW! Read the Rules below before you ask me a question. Prizes will include Medals, Impact Miniatures coach figure and more to be announced. The winners will also have their figures featured on the 2009 version of the MFCA Promotional Trading cards!
The rules for this fun, creativity encouraged event are below:
Category 1-Single Pose - One figure on one base on a field in any realistic position Category 2-Scene - Two or more figures depicting a football scene. (For example: sacking a QB, catching an INT, gang tackling a runner) The figures in the scene category do not need to be on bases but must be on a field. The figures must interact. In other words, they can't just be standing their looking at each other or at the camera. Category3-No Decals - One figure on one base on a field in any realistic position. No decals allowed. This must be 100% hand painted. Voting will take place starting Jan 22 and will end Feb 1. To vote, you need not be a MFCA member but must be a registered member of the MFCA forum. Only one vote per forum member in each category. The combined forum votes will count as 1 vote along with the votes of inpartial judges selected outside of the Miniature Football world. The Judges: Judge 1-The votes from the membership will be tallied and count as 1 vote. Judge 2-Warren Moon (HOF QB) Judge 3-Paul Lukas-ESPN Writer (Paul Lukas obsesses over sleeve lengths, sock stripes, and other uniform minutiae in his Uni Watch column, which has been appearing on Page 2 since 2004.) Judge 4-Mikey T Torbert (Boss Hogette and founder of the famous Redskins Hogettes) Judge 5-Lee Payne III (Son of Lee Payne, inventor of the Fab 5) Judge 6-Nathan Morris (Singer, R&B's #1 group Boyz II Men)
