Default My Dog Ate My Chiefs CB!

Sadly, my Chiefs CB succumbed to a very large dogbite. The dog however faired well as my wife rescued him from a raving maniac, ME!

OK.. send a pic of your chewed up Chiefs CB and a pic of your dog to 1 Arrowhead Drive, Kansas City... Maybe that'll shake up our D... It can't hurt.. we gave up 54 points last Sunday..

Default Wow!

At first I thought this might be a post from Andre KC after the beating my receivers did on his secondary last Saturday!

I don't wanna add insult to injury, but it's a small dog. A peekineese(?)
A furball with teeth.

And how many times, mister, have we heard that excuse for losing an EF game? "The dog ate my cornerback". Next, you'll be telling us it ate your playbook and your homework as well!

My mistake the vicious animal isn't a pikaneese (?) it's a Pomeranian.
That's sad.

Darn thing didn't eat my playbook, but it eats everything else, or at least chews on it.

Must be something about the red paint that attracts pets. Many years ago I had one of my prized "hunchback" '67 BM RB figures nabbed. It was on my tourney Chiefs team and played at the CB position w/a lock-down CB base attached. This was before the many new figure options came along to the hobby mainstream so, needless to say, I was BUMMED!

I tore the entire house apart several times looking for the friggin thing. No luck. Then I remembered something. One of our cats use to play w/the players - swat at them a little when the board was on. That cat would sit on the table and watch mostly. I figured Garfield must have snagged the player from the table. He had played w/some before and never harmed them. So I hoped he just tucked the player away some place. I found it a few days later when I was cleaning out the litter box. There it was, buried in the back where the litter was fresh and clean. No teeth marks. Not even a dink in the paint job! THANK GOODNESS!!

Word is, Chiefs are pet targets. Pass it on.
