Default New Uniform Thread

It's that time of year again. Free agency, the draft. No. It's new uniform time. If you heard any rumors on uni changes please post them here.

The Dolphins are going to thin out the black shadow outline on their numbers. The fans were complaining that several numbers looked alike from afar.

Default Chargers uni's

Thanks Dandy Don - Here's the pic and some info that's posted on the Charger's site : ( neat that they are returning to white helmets - a metallic white )

"The navy, gold and white that Chargers fans have grown accustomed to are still present. The changes begin with a redesigned lightning bolt, which serves as the team’s primary logo. The interior of the bolt is gold and outlined with layers of first powder blue and a navy exterior. The all caps “CHARGERS” script is also receiving a makeover to a sleeker, futuristic look.

The redesigned bolt will be featured on a new metallic-white helmet. The three redesigned jerseys will follow the same color scheme as those in the past. The Chargers will continue to wear navy jerseys with white pants for most home games and white jerseys with navy pants on the road. The redesigned Powder blue jerseys with white pants will be worn on special occasions at home."

Default the message from their site

SAN DIEGO (March 10, 2007) -- The San Diego Chargers have given their uniforms the most significant makeover since 1988.

The major changes include a new gold lightning bolt logo, which will be outlined in both powder blue and navy, and a metallic white helmet.

The team colors and overall look will remain the same. The Chargers will continue to wear navy blue jerseys and white pants at most home games, white jerseys and navy pants on the road and powder blue jerseys with white pants at select home games.

The team will unveil the new look March 14.

"I think it's really great," NFL MVP LaDainian Tomlinson said in a statement released by the team. "I think it is time for us to have our identity, with our jerseys. So I think it is only right to have our own new jerseys and create our own era and our own identity."

Said quarterback Philip Rivers: "You know, it's really an honor that they've chosen our team to be the first to wear this new uniform."
