Default Week 2 is done

Week two saw half of its undefeated teams go down, a big rivarly game, and a preseason favorite fall to 0-2.

Player of the Week: Ben Rothlisberger
Rothlisberger has started out the season on fire through two games. In a matchup against a tough Miami team (1-1), he threw for 108 yards and 3 TDs. His play led the Steelers to score 35 points, the most in one game so far this year. Rothlisberger will face the Titans (0-2) next week, so look for him to improve on his stats.

Biggest Dissapointment: San Francisco vs Dallas
We expected this rivarly game to feature the two top offense's in the league. Julius Jones and Kevin Barlow are the only two players to rush for over 2400 yards and 30 TDs in the whole careers. But the defenses held them to 7 and -1 yards respectivley, putting a damper on the day. Even though Dallas won 13-10, and leads the all time rivalry 4 to 1, it was hard to find a winner. San Francisco faces New Orleans next week, and Dallas faces Cincinnati in the annual turkey bowl. Both opponents are undefeated.

Biggest Surprise: New Orleans
After finishing 4-10 last year and getting the second overall pick, the Saints have started 2-0. Drew Brees, Regge Bush, and first round pick Deuce McAllister are helping this offense to top form, but it's the defense thats most impressive. The Saints have the #1 pass defense, led by Mike McKenzie with 2 picks. Their 4 total is far more then anyone else in the league. They're going to need to keep up their strong play for next weeks game against San Francisco.

What's up next?: Turkey Bowl
Other then the Saints/49ers game next week, the Turkey Bowl will be the best match up. Dallas is hosting the turkey bowl for the 3rd straight year now. This years opponents are the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati, who finished dead last last year, are looking to spoil the Cowboys thanksgiving feast. The Cowboys will be playing their third tough team in a row, and may be exhausted already this point in the season.
