A Testimony to Perseverance: AKC
I've got to give my boy, Coach Al-Karim Campbell a lot of credit for sheer perserverance. AKC is one of those coaches who covers all reference points, takes his lumps, and figures out a strategy to win.
This was a true testimony to doing as much. Starting the season (Mozeek told me this), AKC had every reason to just throw in the towel and give up on the league and rules. At some points, I thought he would. But AKC took the time to consult many great coaches in the game for knowledge, wisdom and just an EFL Hug. He never complained that some guys throw the ball all the time. Or some guys run the ball all the time. Or the 3-1 movement ration in the SO style of play. He just asked questions. Nah, he just harrassed people for answers to questions and took his lumps and played with class and dignity. Whether you win or lose, you have set a great example of perserverance in a style of play that is built for offense. Keep doing what you do and let's see what happens. Reg |
