Default I LIKE THE NAMES I SEE SO FAR.

COACHES,

Many Many moons ago, we had to think of a name to call our magazine. " THE TWEAK ". Many names were tossed around before deciding on the tweak.
Lets do the same here,

Each coach submitt 3 to 4 names and we vote like we did for the tweak.

1) SANDLOT MINIATURE FOOTBALL 3.2

2) SEMI PRO MINIATURE FOOTBALL

3)PROFESIONAL (NON PROFIT) MINIATURE FOOTBALL 4.0 AND UNLIMITED

NOTE: Im not equating 3.2 coaches to a bunch of kids playing sandlot football. I just always liked the name sandlot football. maybe i should have called it "MANLOT MINIATURE FOOTBALL".

PS/ HOW ABOUT 'POPS-WARNER MINIATURE FOOTBALL 3.2"

Default Classification In the Hobby

Wolf,

This is long over due in our hobby! No question about it! I can care less what name you give it, new coaches can not compete with experienced coaches! If this is the direction that the MEFA is going, I like it! Now people can play based on their individual preferences and experience. Good job!

The idea of 3.3, 4.0 and unlimited classes is a good one. My only question is why do you need 2 seperate classes for 3.3? It really doesn't make any difference if a figure is stock or custom, so long as the figure and base combo weighs 3.3 Also, it doesn't really matter whether or not you add weight visably or not, guys are going to find a way to skirt the issue to make thier guys the heaviest they can without going over the limit, whether it's by adding extra paint, clear coats, solid lead face masks, drilling out the figure and refilling it with lead, exchanging the base platform from plastic to metal. So, you may as well just make it open to add any weight you want to get the player to 3.3, or take any weight off the player to meet the weight, just so long as they meet the requirement.

This is my point as well.

Default NAMES

COACHES,

Whatever you guys name it is fine with me. I think we need our own unique terminology. In horse racing they have stake races and claiming races. They also divide/catagorize races by the horses age. Our own unique catagories in terms of names goes a long way !

You need the stock class as an entry level option for the guy off the street, kids that walk in and want to play etc...
Miggle for instance falls into that category, I believe.

I also don't care how they make weight as long as I can't see it. Fatter bellies is classified as custom, not as adding weight. Adding weight is adding putty, lead tape, tungsten etc that would take away from the appearance of a figure.

Default I AGREE WITH AL.

Coaches,

I agree with al reveena.

FIRST OFF: AS LONG AS NOTHING IS HANGING OUT FROM A BASE TO INTERFERE WITH GAME PLAY.

But, a coach should be able to create a figure/team in his eyes AS LONG AS HE IS WITHIN ALL LIMITS.

What difference does it make how a coach gets to 4.0. WHEN HE PUTS THAT FIGURE ON THE SCALE. As long as he weighs no more than 4.0 there is no issue. Clay, paint, ironman suit (coming in may). As long as that fig represents a football pose, and is within all limits. HE PLAY'S

No micro managing. This is why we are doing this !!

**** Wolf, i agree. No nutt or bolt glued to the top of a base. No lead tape wrapped around a figure the last minute like the mummy. But if a coach can create a figure like a fridge perry via clay, and he is in all the weight/height/width requirements. What the problem. That coach just figured out how to design players/athletes within all the guidelines. It bothers me when i see, you can create a custom (ALL LEGAL), BUT HE STILL CANT LOOK LIKE THIS. That's micro managing.

As long as he is in a football pose, he is ok. Look at the nfl, look at all of those big heavy lineman and tiny receivers. Shapes will vary , as long as he is 4.0 and as wide a a miggle 67 BIGMAN WIDE ARMED FIGURE. Not taller than a ff.net blitzer figure. (THE FIG WHO'S HANDS ARE STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR )
