Default Rose Rutledge For Commissioner

Amazing, people will not let me nor my family get away from the game! Trust me, honestly, I am trying to leave the game. I have this year left in the CBSMF and the BAM and I was suppose to leave.

However, this weekend, I had a group of friends approach me about starting up a league using strictly Footballfigure.net products. They talked about how I had always done "all-inclusive" leagues for 16-17 years and they would enjoy hanging out with me doing things in the game.

It's funny because people know that really, if you want to get to me, talk to Rose. They approached Rose about being the commish. Rose, being a corporate executive, has great knowledge on running organizations, etc. Plus, she loves sports and knows miniature football is an outlet for me.

Their problem with me was that I had started playing solitaire and they knew once I get into it, I would shut out everything else and they did not want that. So they asked if I would consider this. As we were eating at "The Hulk's" favorite restaraunt, Pappadeaux, Rose looked at me and said, "Reg, you should do it!" Here reasoning was simply that I had worked tireless to get my daughter's foundation off the ground and I still had guys who wanted to play the game with me. They had no problem with a Footballfigures only league which would travel to 3 destinations per year and the coach owning a stadium built by me. Now personally, I don't know how I will have time to do all of the things that I want to do but anything that keeps me busy and not thinking is a good thing.

So if anyone reading this would be interested in doing something like this, you can let me know here or send me an email. This is one of those fun leagues where we will try to do major marketing (as I am now doing some spectacular stuff with a new camera, green screens, and all the props I got).
We are looking at 3 locales to congregate and get together.

Default FRESH START

REG,

I honestly thought a fresh start was in order maybe two years ago. I wanted to return to texas with a new league in mind. It's just i always liked coming out there. Nothing wrong with any standing league there now but maybe something additional played at different venues in texas. Maybe a day in DALLAS. A weekenfd in san antonio. I alway's envisioned a new league in texas called

" THE LONE STAR MINIATURE FOOTBALL LEAGUE"

A texas vision i alway's think about.

GOT A SMOKIN LOGO IN MIND ALSO.

Default Mantaraye, this is not a Texas League

We will travel to 3 spots in a year. My wife and I like to travel and want to and all of the people who play want to travel. We just enjoy hanging out with each other and why not create a league doing so!

Even Biglock has signed on to play so it's just great getting guys who don't mind doing a little traveling and playing with you. For once, we are doing something that is selfishly for ourselves.

So don't think this is a Texas League. I would love to have one of my best friends who stay in Texas, John Rowan, play but I never thought in terms of Texas only.

When we start, I know we've already considered going to New York, Miami, and Arlington the first year. But we will see.

Default TRAVEL LEAGUE.

reg i see.

Travel league. Sounds like 1 base outing in arlington each year with 2 travel cities to be determined each year.

Is this a 32 coach league limit. In other words this is NOT like the cbsmf.
Fill a 32 team pro league and travel to play your sked.

A stint in miami beach sounds good.

Franchised-type league. Not really meant for everyone. Most people have no interest in just using or doing FF.Net and that's okay. This is a franchise base in which we will add new members after the original franchises.

We just want to start doing some travel in our old age and we enjoy being around friends who do what we do.

Default Off-shoot of Solitaire Shootout Rules

This will be a league that has a 180 gram weight limit.

You will have 40 on the roster and 5 reserves. The total cummulative weight of the 40 must equal 160 grams. The 5 reserves can not exceed 20 grams.

This will allow you to have some players weighing in at 6 grams if you want to or everyone across the board 4 grams. Due to injuries, you better hope those players (at the higher weight) are never injured!

This league is gonna be based just like what I was doing in solitaire. However, I do not have time to do that anymore. Yes, it will have 3 cities that will change every year.

The drat position will be done latter this year.
