Default I Need Y'all to Know, I Will Be Having Someone Build My Team

Guys sit on this base thing like it's life or death. For me, it's not. I really could care less! Just want y'all to know right here, right now, I will not be doing my Tennessee team.

I really honestly do not have time to be involved in the game of miniature football at this point but the growth of the CBSMF is too important and there are things I can still do to assist in the growth.

Again, we see guys who get into this league to prove manhood. I frankly could care less about that. My manhood is always centered around my religion, my responsibilities as a father and a husband, and the good I do with humanity. Nothing else matters.

So for the record, I want y'all to know, I am shipping my team out to my good friend Greg Hardmon, to put bases on my Tennessee Volunteers. Last week, when I played Dru Sparks and Kevin Boddie, I can honestly tell you I put those bases on right before we played.

I am sorry if I don't take this stuff too seriously. Yeah, I respect the game, but it's not that important to me. So now, I do the next best thing. Send my team off to Greg to get based up.

At the end of the day, I still have to coach them to win. Greg will just do what I have no time to do. Too many lives to try to save and too many young people to touch and too much foundation work is on my table. Things like that put MF in it's proper perspective.

I just don't want some of y'all to come on here and speak of how "Reg did not do his own team" if I somehow do well in the CBSMF. For me, it's fun and this is for entertainment purposes only - don't let your egos get in the way of the greater good of the CBSMF.

Just an observation - I love the hype but at the end of the day, it's just a game.

Reg

Reg, what you are doing is no different than anyone else who has ever bought and used a base. You STILL have to coach and know your team. That is the bottom line. I have coached basketball at the high school level for 37 years, and believe me, any rookie coach can run the conditioning drills. It is the "coaching" that matters, and is what I am hired to do. I equate getting someone else to do your bases as the same thing as my having one of my assistants run the conditioning drills while I am doing other things. Yet, when the score is tied with 7 seconds left, you better believe that I am going to make that call, and live with the results. The important thing is that you are playing. Doug

Default There's nothing wrong with that at all!

I'll see what Gregs doing and add to the mix. That's legit Reginald right off the bat. I am starting on my team sometime next week. I'll shoot a little something Greg's way to help out!

You gotta coach em up though.

Good luck!
