Default FIRST RUN PROLINE QUESH

COACHES,

How can you tell if you have a first run proline base in your posession. Sometimes coaches buy a group of bases from other coaches. So some first runs could be sitting in a pile at your house. Is the base marked in any way to let you know it was a first ran base. To the naked eye, who can tell the difference between a first run base and a third run base

Dre,
Color is the best way to distinguish the runs.

1st run "Kinda" flourescent green
2nd run "Dark" green--- closer to original R/L color
3rd run "Pale" green--- closer to a lima bean

I know these are relative terms but ......I hope this helps.

Default 1st run Prolines

Think original tudor green, not aqua

2nd run, think rookie base or the color of George Diamonds green rookie remakes

3rd Run, think awful!, actually think lime green but slighly flourenscent.

Super Prolines. Think Last years prolines. The difference is that the reeds (Brushes Underneath) are similar in position and angle to the first runs. Another difference, the most important, is that the front is solidly round, not bashed in like last year, and the sides are much firmer. The design and sturdier plastic, although they look alike, are the difference.

Hope this helps.

Question though, are the Super Prolines as good as the original first run Prolines?

Default THANX FOR THE INFORMATION

Coaches,

Thanx or the information. Im sure im not the only ne who did not know this.

This color breakdown is awesome. I will chexk my stash. I know i saw some bright greens but never knew these were the first runs. I will mix them with the supers to create a team of destruction lol. I may have to change my name to lawn-mower dre. This is all based on my tweaking abilities.

Default YEAH YEAH!

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quote]
