Default Super Bowl 47 Playoff Recaps

My 47th Super Bowl Tounament is nearing the end. I have played 3 of the 4 Divisional Round Playoff games so far this week.

Game 1. NFC- Santa Fe Warriors (7)at Los Angeles Rams(10).

AJ Feely came off the bech to rally the LA Rams to the winning TD late in the 4th quarter as the top seeded Rams defeated the expansion Santa Fe Warriors 10-7. The win gives the Rams home field in next weeks NFC Championship game vs the Minnesota/Tampa Bay winner.

Game 2.AFC- Buffalo Bills(38)Miami Dolphins(24).

Marshawn Lynch ran for 4 TDs tying a league record in the Bills 38-24 romp over the Miami Dolphins. Surprisingly Miami led 10-6 at the half, but Buffalo exploded for 25 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter to take a 31-10 lead. Miami rallied for 2 4th Qtr TDs to close the gap to 31-24 only to watch Lynch break loose on a 57 yd run to seal the victory for the Bills advancing them to the AFC Campionship Game.

Game 3.AFC- Houston Texans(3)Kansas City Chiefs(14).

The AFCs top seeded team the KC Chiefs topped the Houston Texans 14-3 to earn home field advantage for the AFC Championship Game vs the Buffalo Bills. This was a sloppy game in which both QBs Matt Schaub for Hou. and Matt Cassels KC were both well off their games. KC scored a TD early in the 2nd Qtr on a 13 yd run by Jamaal Charles. Houston executed a great 2 minute drill to get their only points of the game on a 38 yd FG as time ran out in the 1st half. The 3rd Qtr. was scorless with missed opportunities and turnovers by both teams. The Chiefs had an amazing 8 minute drive forcing the Texans to spend all of their timeouts when Thomas Jones ran 23 yds for the clinching score with 1:41 left in the game.

Game 4. NFC- Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Bucaneers. Scheduled for tomorrow.
