With the growth and success of the CBSMF and the shootout style ITSELF. it is only natural that this endeavor open its doors for NFL teams. i spoke with REG in ny this weekend and he does not want to be the one who always starts the ball rolling so i will start it. Im looking to organize the


" ALL ERA MINIATURE FOOTBALL LEAGUE "

I would like the name because many of you share the same fondness for particular NFL teams. So what will be allowed is a 5 team MAX for that special NFL TEAM DEAR TO YOU. This max goes for all 32 teams. if that teams is maxed out you must pick a secondary team. THIS STYLE IS LOOKING TO FILL ALL 32 TEAMS WITH THEIR MAX, WITH THIS MAX COMES A STIPULATION

*** EACH TEAM MUST BE FROM A DIFFERENT ERA. YOU CANNOT HAVE THE SAME PLAYERS ON A PATICULAR TEAM IN THIS LEAGUE. for example

ken allen, mozeek and joe greco all love the giants. All 3 picked that team there entire roster must be different. Quick example, when picking a qb,

1) ken allen picks ( phil simms with a backup)

2)mozeek picks ( Y.A. TITLE with a back up)

3) job greco picks ( eli manning with a backup)

this scenario goes for all players within the giants organization.

*** ALL NFL TEAMS UP TO THE 5 MAX WILL OPERATE THIS WAY

How do we fairly grab our favorite NFL FRANCHISE FIRST.

WE ARE GOING TO DO IT EBAY AUCTION STYLE

you know when you really want something on e bay and you wait until the last second to hit the enter button right before the auction ends. We can do a team draft like that here. We will set a date and time. Saturday or sunday morning 11:00 texas standard time since this is where it all originated. CHECK YOUR TIME IN YOUR REGION.

We will all come on the chat board that day and do a team draft. each coach will select his first , second and third option. For example,

PLEASE HAVE YOUR SELECTONS TYPED AND READY BY 10:59 AM TEXAS STANDARD TIME. WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES 11:00 AM, HIT THE ENTER BUTTON ON YOUR COMPUTERS.

*** The computer will give the posts selections in succession. IF YOUR POST HAPPENS TO COME UP NUMBER 5, THATS JUST HOW IT IS. The computer grabbed you 5th But 1-4 may not have selected you team.

***I must ask wolf is there a way to check the time on posts. because if your post time reads 10:58 or 9 am. Your selection will be disqualified due to jumping the gun early. Within 1 WEEK, the winner of the first of the 5 franchise max MUST POST HIS ROSTER. This is so the next coach who picked the same franchise can craft his roster around yours. Number cant pick a roster until he see's who you have chosen. He will know he must pick different players. FUN PART, ALL 5 TEAM FRANCHISES CAN TRADE AMONGST EACH OTHER. GIANT TRADE WITHIN A GIANT TRADE. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TRADE WITH ANOTHER TEAM.

*** If a player played for 2 or 3 different teams he can play on those other squads. LIKE DEON SANDERS

There will be a 5 commissioner legal team voted on by the people

**IF PLAYING WITH AN OLD 1930 TEAM, THE LEATHER HELMET LOOK MUST CREATED WITH THAT TEAM. ( Just paint the helmets a brown leather with no facemask, give the jerseys that sweater look ) check with 5-13 studio's, he will fix you up with the old look.

PS/ ALL FRANCHISES MUST BE PAID FOR BY A CERTAIN EARLY DATE. Reason being, we cant have guys holding a franchise and a roster hostage while they are trying to decide whether to play or not. This will only screw up someone else's plans. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.

***THERE WILL ALSO BE A TREASURER IN PLACE.

A $35 NON REFUNDABLE ENTRY FEE MUST BE IMPLEMENTED TO ACQUIRE A FRANCHISE AND CREATE A ROSTER. If you cannot honor any further commitments, your team with roster will go into the abandoned bin for coaches with the same franchise to choose addl players from. If this sounds harsh you must understand, IN BUSINESS, THERE ARE OTHERS !

Do not wait for reg rutledge to chime in to make this official. THIS IS NOT WHAT HE WANTS. He wanted coaches to start something regarding the shootout rules set on there own without him leading the charge. I can tell from the overwhelming responses YOUR STILL WAITING FOR HIM. Im saying this because coaches have contacted him personally and privately asking for such a league. I just started the ball rolling for him. REG IS IN ! Reg is tired. he wants someone else to drive the bus for a change. He will not be a part of the league if anyone is relying on him to swoop in and take over. IT WILL BE JUST AS BIG AS THE CBSMF. ITS NOT LIKE IT IS JUST 1 PERSONS LEAGUE.

Just my take

I think you did a good job of explaining how some one becomes the GM of a team but I have many questions which others my have also.

Like when will the season start?
Who will you play?
Will there be conf., independents, or what?
Is there a playoff?
Final Tourny?
How will the location of each coach dictate who who play?
How many games?

I think people may just need more information.
