Default I NEED HELP!

So I just finished my Solitaire Season and I am heading into the playoffs and Everything is all knotted up and I need to figure out how to work out the seeding to know who will play who in the post season!

Here is how things shook out at the end of the regular season

TEAM Wins-Losses-Ties-Over Time Loss=TOTALPOINTS
Laurier: 4-4-0-0= 8
Western: 4-3-0-1= 9
Ottawa: 2-4-1-1= 6
McMaster: 3-2-0-2= 8
Guelph: 5-2-0-1= 11
Waterloo: 4-3-1-0= 9
Windsor: 5-3-0-0= 10
Toronto: 3-5-0-0= 6
Queen’s: 5-3-0-0= 10
York: 4-2-0-2= 10

Placement Team
1st Guelph (11)
2nd Queen’s (10)
2nd Windsor (10)
2nd York (10)

3rd Waterloo (9)
3rd Western (9)
4th McMaster (8)
4th Laurier (8)
5th Toronto (6)
5th Ottawa (6)

I looked at the obvious Tie Breakers and of course Windsor beat York, York Beat Queen's and Queen's Beat Windsor! ******** it!

so I need help to figure out how my playoffs will function. (the top 6 teams make it, 1 and 2 will get a bye to the semis, and the lowest meets the highest seed in the quarters etc etc.)

Week by week it happened like this

Week 1
Queen’s Beat Guelph

Laurier Beat Toronto

Waterloo Beat McMaster

Western Beat Ottawa

Windsor Beat York

Week 2
York Beat Guelph

Laurier Beat Western

Queen’s Beat McMaster

Windsor Beat Toronto

Ottawa Ties Waterloo

Week 3
Guelph Beat Toronto

Waterloo Beat Laurier

McMaster Beat York

Windsor Beat Western

Queen’s Beat Ottawa in Overtime

Week 4
Guelph Beat Western

McMaster Beat Laurier

Toronto Beat Ottawa

Waterloo Beat Windsor

York Beat Queen’s

Week 5
Queen’s Beat Windsor

Guelph Beat Waterloo

Ottawa Beat Laurier

Western Beat McMaster in Overtime

Toronto Beat York in Overtime

Week 6
Guelph Beat Ottawa

Windsor Beat Laurier

Toronto Beat McMaster

Queen’s Beat Waterloo

York Beat Western

Week 7
Laurier Beat Guelph

Windsor Beat McMaster in Overtime

York Beat Ottawa

Western Beat Queen’s

Waterloo Beat Toronto

Week 8
Laurier Beat Queen’s

Guelph Beat McMaster

Ottawa Beat Windsor

Western Beat Toronto

Waterloo Beat York in Overtime

I am gonna try and figure it out... but seeding has always boggled my mind when it isnt clean and easy... any help anyone can give would be appreciated

Thanks!

I'm trying to figure out your scoring system. It looks like 2 points for a win, and 1 point for a tie or overtime loss. Is that correct? If it is, then you made a mistake for Windsor, as 6 wins should be 12 points, so they should be #1 seed. York would be #3 because they beat Queens, which would be #4. Since Western only played 7 games, I would give them the nod over Waterloo, who played 1 more game but had the same # of points.

Default Thanks so far

my scoring system: 2 points win, 1 point to each team for a tie, 1 point for overtime loss (no points for a loss in regulation)

I made a mistake in writing it out. Windsor was 5-3 not 6-2 oops.

also Western did play 8 games.

sooo... still require help please

Ok, in that case, I would put Windsor and Queens over York, 5 wins to 4. York had 2 regular losses and 2 overtime losses, but when you get down to it, a loss is a loss, so in essence, they finished 4-4. Since Queens beat Windsor, they should be #2 and Windsor #3, York #4. As for #5 and 6, since they did not play each other, I would go down the list from #1 and see how they did. They both lost to the #1 seed, so #2 would be next. Queens beat Waterloo but lost to Western, so I would put Western at #5 and Waterloo #6. Hope that helps???

Default Cool.

If you have any chances to have some pics or videos of your playoff, it could be great!
