Default The MFCA international miniature football league

So...Here we go

Following the chat on the "growing hobby" topic, why not thinking about official MFCA endorsed conferences and teams ? Not NFL or college, but original teams.

Any interest in a brainstomring topic to find conferences and teams names/locations, design, etc... ?

I don't know.

It joins the discuss on growing hobby, Dre speaks about fantasy only MFCA teams, not related to an aera. I believe he's right, and it 's the way to go with that MFCA approved fantasy teams.

But perhaps, once we'll have several registred MFCA teams, it will be necessary to build conferences and local organisations for it.

But I believe making MFCA tournaments with personal teams is really a cool idea.

Default TEAMS

VOLOCANO.

it wont matter where you live. Each team name will begin with MFCA. This is used to exclude to replace and city or country name. Ir will also identify you as a MFCA MEMBER AND TEAM OWNER. The coach must think of his own unique nickname for his team. Once that name is registered here online. No one else can use that name. JUST MFCA.

1 MFCA IDENTIFIES YOU AS A LEAGUE MEMEBER

2 YOUR TEAM NICKNAME SEPARATES YOU FROM EVERYONE.

MFCA CHAMP ELYSEE'S

vs

MFCA ERUPTERS

Just example names for a game that will feature

THE FRENCH GUY

vs

VOLCANOHEAD

Then all can figure out what is the best color scheme you like for yourself..
Its best to map out then write down exactly how you want your team to look. Then get the materials and

make them come to life

The more I read, the more I like that idea

I believe my "free agents" figures will become the first MFCA approved european team

I think I'll search for a name related to my aera. Like miami dolphins, steelers, 49ers, etc... are related to their aera.

Here in my aera, Napoleon III (sort of french emperor...yes we had emperors too, not only kings ) built a vast pine wood forest, because my aera was covered by swamps, causing heavy health damages to the population. (pulmonary diseases).

Now, my aera is the first (as far as I know) forest in Europe (size speaking), about 1 million hectares (don't know of that measure unit is used in USA). We are really surrounded by pine wood trees everywhere.

I believe it can make a good base for a name and look (colors, logo) brainstorming

Dimitri, I thought France already had a team starring Bledar at QB, coached by their leader Marlax. And don't forget their head chearleader Prymatt. Get ready to consume mass quantities of fermented barley hops when the French Coneheads take the field!

Default MFCA Brand- My proposal

We do need to develop and MFCA brand. I like Dre's idea to replace a city with MFCA. But I think for a team for each MFCA would be too many teams to gain brand recognition. I would think a 16 team league would be a good number to gain Team recognition.

Here is my proposal:

Any MFCA member could submit names and jersey designs by a certain date (say 11-30-10). However many they could think of..... MFCA coaches would spend 3-4 days to vote on the teams/ designs. The top 16 teams become the Official MFCA teams. The teams would not change say for ten (10)years. Each year the style could change but the names and colors would remain the same.

Perhaps coaches would earn extra points for using MFCA teams in their games. We could market team logos, sell them as starter kits/ gifts for new coaches, sell decal sheets for the teams (marketing! ); offer them for sale at the MFCA conventions. If we can consisently get these teams in the public eye and are consistent, they could become valuable MFCA brands, symbols and logos.

Personaly, I believe we should allow any MFCA member to present his own MFCA endorsed team.

Or, at worst, any MFCA member playing MFCA league games AND/OR MFCA endorsed tournaments.

Then, the names will become famous with the victories of the teams, or the modelling level on it, or the stadium, or the spirit of the team owner, etc...

Some will come, some will grow, but that's what happened with any successful endeavor.

Still working on a plan.
