Blast from the Past in Pennsylvania ...

... I was on the Internet digging up the old pages I created related to what was first known as the Central Pennsylvania Electric Football League (CPEFL), then the Colonial Buzzball Association (CBA). This travel league lasted through the 2000 and 2001 seasons. It had a wealth of coaching talent, and little old me trying to learn my way as this was my first league. Raiderman, Mike Pratt, CorEy, Vance Warren, Will Travers, Ed Scott, Ab Vaughn, and other greats were all a part of this league. Looking back, it was crazy.

Raiderman and Pratt met in the final both years. Below is a picture from the second (and final) Colonial Bowl, which Raiderman won, 35-21.

Note the Tidewater folks checking out the action in the background.

It is a classic. Original Tudor 620. Considered by many, the smoothest running board ever mass produced.

It's the "grass field" 620. I think that's the original 620-sized field. There then came other 620s with blue end zones (NFC version) and orange end zones (AFC version). The AFC version is also referred to as a 610, but it's the same size as a 620 (though I think it runs better).

My favorite as far as smooth running and performance.

Roo why are you bringing this up!!!! I would breeze thru the reg season, then get up ended in the playoffs.
I can't remember which year it was but the playoffs took place at Pratt's house. I had a #1 seed....so I thought, but because I didn't make the trip to Dumfries, Va I was given 2fft L's which put me on the road playing Pratt. On his 5ft high table!!!! Somewhere has to be the archieves, those were some great times.
That big baby RM didn't like the way I would pass, because I was bumping his men that had nothing to do with the play I might add. He had Pratt change the rule that if your hand touched a defender, it was incomplete! That was shear Prettyboy hate from way back in the day!!!!
Remember Vance and Will had their whole team in original 67 men??? They were super imposing on my Miggle stamped 49ers. But we beat them both!
Hey Gerorge was in that league as well....right? Big Al too

Yeah George was in the league. I think Al K and Ab V came in for the second season. Those playoffs at Pratt's house were the first year. That was the greatest day ever even though I didn't advance.

The second year I think was in a hotel in Hollidaysburg or Harrisburg or something, I can't remember.

The old "Dawg Pound," those were the days.

Yeah, typical Corey. Doesn't read the rules and then complains when he gets called on something.

Great picture Ed. The second CBA Championship took place in Harrisburg at the Comfort Inn. It was the same night the Yankees lost to the Diamondbacks in the World Series.

The game I FINALLY Pratt. 21-21 at the half thanks to my Eric Dickerson runningback returning kicks for me for my Raiders. I still have that figure too! It's stuck to the trophy! LOL! I managed to finally shut his run down in the second half. That's back when he could stand up and play. My heart breaks for him now every time I see him play. He's in so much pain.
