Default Ebay Auction

I am perplexed. I'm sure many of you have seen this aution:

http://cgi.ebay.com/5-Team-NFC-East-...item20b6114dc2

and perhaps even bid on it. I have been watching auctions for several years and this is the highest price I have seen for a later model Super Bowl. Even though it comes with some extra teams, I was wondering if anyone might know why bidding on this particular one has gone so high. It is in great condition and the teams are very clean, but it seems like everything could be purchased for less $.

I already have the same model, and I would never sell it. I am just curious.

Thanks for any insight you can give.
Michael

Default Crazy bidding.

Thanks for the quick responce Coach Rip.

I know prices used to be alot higher before custom boards became the norm, but I didn't think any Tudor/Miggle board went for anything close to that, even with a bunch of teams

That is a crazy high bid. I used to sell sets like that and made about $100-$125 a set but nothing like this. Sometimes eBay works like that.

Sometimes a person wants something so bad they will pay way too much

Default Bidding war

I have seen this on EBAY and the people bidding on this can buy a new board and more teams for less money on the Miggle site.

Default Seen that mess before.

You are right and so is RIP. Some newbie is going to have a bad taste in their mouth because they allowed their enthusiasm to get in the way of their rationale. Hopefully, they will learn from this.

Default way to expensive

IT'S INSANE!!!

At that price, i can have some really good customs players...and more teams also.
