Default MONRO players

I see an auction on ebay for MONRO electric football players. Never heard of them. Anyone know about them?

older figs, before the tudor company (company before miggle) took over i believe.

Also, i believe they are a bit heavier than the standard figs we play with.

Default Monro players

I made a purchase of these players a couple of months ago. Same deal, 50 teams for $40.00 from the same seller.

These are the Munro figures sold with the Munro Vibra-Action football games from the early 70's. Smaller then Miggle/Tudor regular figures. These are the figures I am using for my current CFL solitiare league teams.

Look for my posts under the Solitiare section of the fourm for pics.

Default Thanks.....

Your CFL teams are nice. What is your connection to the CFL being in TN? Just curious.

Default CFL Connection

Just enjoy watching the CFL games on the NFL network and I quess from researching football history. A lot of good players and coaches have come to the NFL from the CFL and players that weren't considered good enough for the NFL had very successful careers in the CFL. Several players from UT have played in the CFL and one (Ray Nettles) is in the CFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.

And the uniforms. Always looking for different uniforms to paint.

Memphis did have a CFL team back in the 90's when the CFL expanded into the US.
