A Icon
Ken Judgement by others is what really sticks out to me from what you said and I totally agree with you. Those same people who judges Vince has serious issues themselves. Saying that we dont realize this is just a hobby and I don't need you to give me a kidney or something to that affect. I just need to fellowship with you in a adult, mature like way to enjoy something we are sharing. All the personal blast we have in this community needs to stop and lets enjoy each other for the short time we have. Since I have been in Vegas Vince has opened up his home treated me like a brother and has shared his knowledge and information on EF FREELY! This man is a Icon in EF and I myself is glad you guys had a chance to meet this coach.

3-0 AGAINST VINCE PEATROS
I JUST WANT ALL OF YOU TO KNOW THAT I AM 3-0 AGAINST VINCE PEATROS!! YOU HEARD ME 3-0.
I talked to him three different times and made him laugh all three times. He's LUCKY I didn't see him more! I would have made him laugh even harder! Oh wait............ hold on.................. I think he's laughing now............. better make that 4-0! It just goes to show you that a message board can be a good or bad thing. It's great when you can meet people and share but it can hinder relationships if you let it get to you. Like on the movie Cars at the end of it when that VW bus character says, "There's a lot of love out there man." RAIDERMAN

2011 Miggle convention - and Vince
I had the opportunity to meet Vince at the first Dallas Shoot-out (1995?) and Dirk and Vince were friends. I remember reading the posts and call-outs east and west of the mississippi.
I had a marvelous time at the Miggle Convention this year and when I heard Vince was there I looked forward to crossing his path - and was not disappointed! - except when he said he wasn't there to play. Vince was always a major talent in my book and I am very happy he shared some of it with us. Joyce Rogers

WHAT'S TYHE VERDICT.
COACHES,
wHAT BETTER ENDORSEMENT can you get than a post by the LOVELY "JOYCE ROGERS " another icon in our hobby. Who all have to utmost respect for. It seems, 2 different portraits have been painted over time. WHICH ONE SEEMS TO BE THE MOST BELIEVABLE ? Get your coffee and read this entire thread. peatros got on a plane and showed up. WHEN SOME THOUGHT VINCE WAS JUST A LOUD MOUTH GHOST. Is he still the ghost others whispered in your ear, privately. more coming. It is not by accident that many see vince as the ultimate tweaker and player. Now that casper showed up, bill murray can stop looking for him. he could have come to columbus and shared nothing, but i hear he shared everything. If it is personal with vince outside of electric football, that can be fixed also. Is it worth losing someone of his value. All you have to do is play him, not marry him. Its amazing how some still have strength to push someone away after losing alot of blood from the multiple knives that were planted in their backs. THE REAL GHOST PUT THEM THEIR. The story of joe greco going to his house and coming back impressed up the wazu, what does that tell you. EVERYBODY LOVES JOE GRECO. WHAT GIVES HERE, COACHES WANT VINCE RE-INSTATED ON THIS CHAT BOARD. SOMEONE WAS TAKEN FROM US WHO WE COULD LEARN A GREAT DEAL FROM. AND HE IS STILL ALIVE !!!!!!!!!! WHATS THE VERDICT, ONCE AGAIN ????????????? MANTARAYDRE

Vince thinks about this game on a a completely different level. As impressive as his tweaking skills are (and they are immense), it is his strategies and overall intellectual approach to coaching EF that impressed me the most.
Now, I did meet Vince at that first Texas Shootout, but was just wowed by our recent conversation. I cannot wait...ok, on second thought I better wait to play him...he would KILL me now!!! When I improve my team a little and my skills quite a bit, then I definitely want to play this guy!!! Vince, good meeting you again buddy...let's do it sometime before another 15 years pass us by! Impressed!
Not that my opinion matters but the man I met at Miggle is not the man others have portrayed him to be. What a nice guy.
It was a huge pleasure meeting him. Don "detroitchild" Lang

Vince the person....
I am glad that everyone finally got to see what i have had the Honor to be apart of for 4 years now...the real honest Vince Peotros.
I remember the first time i met him, I was at Bill Porche's house and had just completed my first team... i was proud of them and was fooling around with bill running some plays when Vince came over with his son. He asked if i wanted to play some so i said sure and put em up there.....well to make a real long story short... he killed me... was not even close... that team i had built was weak, slow, and clumsy compared to the team vince was running. But here is the thing that i am glad happened, and will never forget...... instead of laughing at me, ( we did laugh, but it was funny to see my team get "escorted to thier own endzone" by his whole O line and running back) instead of belittling me or saying sorry kid... he simply looked me in the eyes and asked me DO YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW I DO THIS ? when i said yes he said be at my house on saturday and i will show you how to tweek... now it is 4 years later and the teaching still continues...... I give a BIG THANK YOU to Vince... he took a enthusiastic hobbiest and made a top level competitive coach out of him, much to the dismay of the other coaches here..... but thats a whole nother story. Thank You Vince.... and as long as your Garrage is open i will Always keep showing up as a student, and a friend.

Rick . . .
. . . Thanks for the insight. Pretty much what we saw at Miggle this weekend. If that was four years ego that we are looking at a consistent pattern giving. Eric called me about Vince and as you know Erick grew up playing with us in the Detroit Electric Football League when he was an early teen. I consider him a good judge of charactor. He too was embraced by Vince as well. Good stuff!
