Min max
Erob,
I would just go logical and make the 1)Minimum 1/2 base 2)maximum 1 base length I DON'T THINK IT WILL BE QUESTIONED SINCE YOU CANT GET AN ANSWER MANARAYDRE

Updated answer
I just spoke with Greg. Here is the answer.
The minimum the offensive line must be separated is 1/2 base WIDTH. The maximum they can be separated is 1 base WIDTH. The rules will be amended to reflect this - thanks. Joe G

Thanx to all who responded
Got it! Special thanx to Dre, Joe, Mozeek, & Shabby J for assisting in clarifiying the rule. So funny...none of you guys are on the rules committee, but yet you responded and put forth maximum efforts to explain the rule.
@ Dre - there is no logic involved when dealing with EF Guy. His word means nothing, he has no integrity, he flip flops, and he is a coward. |

Who is EF Guy?
What's up RJ! Make sure you give me a shout when u get n2 town.
I was in the dark on line splits as well. I just want clarification on the rules. I never imagined that it would be so difficult to get answers from the powers that be. Y is everything so secretive? It looks like things are being figured out as games get played. @RJ Ques: Who is EF Guy? Answer: 1. The guy who runs his mouth and never contributes anything to his league or the hobby...except having his ego stroked by his fellow EF Nerds, comes up with ideas for Wolf, Tom, Don or some other strong EFer/MFer to follow through on. 2. The league cancer...he wants to play by his own rules, cheats, changes the rules in the middle of the season to accomodate his boys, and disrupts the league by trying to make coaches choose sides, and promote his own agenda. 3. The guy who quits, and takes his ball home if he can't have his way. 4. I retire, I retire, I retire guy. If you retire, just quit, and go away. No need to announce that he quit, but he does in order to gain attention, and get sympathetic coaches to beg him back. If they don't beg him back, the resurfaces anyway, and everybody (except me) pretends nothing never happend, then welcome him back with open arms. 5. The bad character guy who rallies around other bad character guys, then bully the good guys into doing what they want to do. 6. The guy who's word is as good as what is on used toilet paper ...he is always starting a league (never happens), always wants to do business (with your $), my way or the highway guy, slanders other EF/MF Coaches business by trying to produce the exact products that someone else has developed. 7. Win at all cost guy, who constantly stirs the pot. He knows right from wrong, but always chooses to do what benefits him, not the league There is much more. Shall I continue? Nah...I think you get my point. |
