Default New guy needs help

Can someone tell me how can I thank the people of this MF/BB/EF community? Because, just saying thanks, is not enough. There has to be a bigger or better word to describe the gratitude I have to all you guys? When you know that in all these pockets of the country, coaches were praying with their families, and mentioning my family in with their own prayers. They were heard, because it was no way I could’ve gotten thru this without those prayers, and words of encouragement. I saw the thread on this board; I saw how many times it was viewed. I saw all the coaches signing on with uplifting words. But it didn’t stop there. No! Then came the PM’s, the emails, the voice messages, the text messages, and the phone calls. And still there were more. My mom would call me, Corey, one of your football buddies sent a card, and another card, and on & on. Corey, we got a flower arrangement from your football friends. I never knew guys had the address? You know what she said, “Those guys must really like you”, and I said I guess they do!!!??? So someone has to let me know how I can really show my appreciation for all that. Because thank you, is not enough.

I know I have a lot of catching up to do. I will be picking up some goodies this weekend for the Bash, which will be next weekend. I will also be hosting the MFCA skills challenge during the Bash! I hope to see everyone there.
Also looking forward to playing in my 3rd season of NHFL (3 seasons, 3 different regions) who’s not National???????
I’m behind in my Philly league (PEFL) so I will be running around like a chicken for the next few days.

Well it’s great to be back, I’ve missed you guys!

Default Pay Back

That's the thing about friends Corey, you don't have to pay them back. We took on that responsiblity when we agreed to be your friend. You said enough already. You're thankful and that's all that matters dude. Like I said before, you can take the NFL license out of the hobby but you can't take the friends that make up this hobby. We all need help sooner or later so just be there for the next guy like your friends were there for you.

Default Glad you are back CorEy.

We have never met - but I know what it is like to go through tough times and have friends support you in ways you never imagined. I am just getting back into EF I am already finding out about the support and camaraderie here - it is great!! I'm sure we will meet somewhere along the way - I look forward to that day. All the best to you.

Default Glad to hear from you!

It goes to show you that even though we can battle on the gridiron and argue amongst ourselves on the chat board, that the community pulls together as a whole to support one another.

I have not met 99% of you guys, but these posts are great. I look at this board daily and if I were having a serious family crisis and see words of encouragement and support, that would definitely help keep the spirits up.

Miniature football is good people!

Thumbs up Just be you...."NATIONAL"!!!

Coach it is just a pleasure to have met you and to have befriended you was more than a blessing. We we met on the grideron and we flew to KC and laughed all the way there and back:p That was bonding and appreciate your welcome when I came to Philly by myself and won the game LOL you still gave me the right directions to get home

What I can say to you Coach National is "La Shaqruan Lillahi" This translated from Arabic means "No Thanks Required it is My Duty"

Your home and we are family. "In life sometimes it takes many years to get know a person but this hobby we share will enable one to determine the degree of ones sincerity in the span of one trying time...."
