Field numbers?
How can you tell the difference between a 620 or any other.
I noticed that someone is selling a 620? on Ebay. But on the box it says 635. I am a bit confused, can some help. Chris here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/Tudor-Super-Bowl...QQcmdZViewItem

SB Size
CLM:
I would ask the seller for the outside dimensions of the field. If they measure at ~37” X 20” you know it’s a 620 field. Tudor used the 620 size board to create a superbowl field each year beginning with SBIII (Model#633) and used a different model # to distinguish superbowl fields. At some point in the late 70’s or early 80’s Tudor began using the mid-size field (old 613/618) to create superbowl fields. Then eventually the old 500 design became the superbowl field. Ray F. |

I think many people use the name "620" to designate the larger field that Tudor made to distinguish it from the smaller boards, ala the current Super Bowl boards that Miggle sells. If I remember correctly, the 635 is the same size as the 620. Just different graphics.

Booklet Pictures
I saw this on ebay the other day. Perhaps there are some people on this forum who collect the booklets for each year and they could clearify, or even post pics of the models listed in the booklets. Scroll down and look at the booklet open to the pages with the boards. 5 different models in one year! Boy were those good days or what?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Electric-footbal...QQcmdZViewItem I just looked and I won an auction last week for a board which comes with the same booklet. I will try to post a pic when I get it. Last edited by gridironpainter : 11-10-2007 at 07:33 PM. |

The booklet is a neat thing to have in your collection. Just the picture of all the teams is the coolest thing ever.
Suggestion to the MFCA folks: ... Those that have a very extensive board collection - someone should snap pictures of them all so we can put up a Board Guide here. It would help collectors and it would help those who think about buying boards on eBay make sure they are getting what the seller is advertising they are getting (which unfortunately, isn't always the case). I downloaded that image and blew it up in photoshop, and although it is pretty grainy, I think I can read the numbers. The super bowl is 615 which is smaller than the 620, the AFC is a large board 610 which is the same board as large 620, the NFC is the large 620, The small AFC is 510 and the small NFC is 520, which are actually the same as later 500 models. That covers all the boards up to the later Super Bowl Boards which are 600's (I think).
