Default Bombing Jets-17 Rough Riders-14

For Coach Karim (NHFL):

With tongue-n-cheek I smile at your closing comment, "I love this game." It's always easy to love the game when we win, but much harder to embrace it with the same emotion when we lose the close games that should have been won.

As for the pic of the last play of our game in which I had no one in an unengaged position who was close enough to intercept the ball in the end zone .......... you're right, I didn't. It was a poorly defended play. My fault, my responsibility. I had you on the hook and let you off.

Thanks for a good game.

Coach Jack T.

Thumbs up NHFL Game day Bombing Jets-3 Maniax-0

A battle to the end 2 outstanding saves by a speedster tweaked by Coach K-Lo(white diamond) not only did it play safety from on the line D line and run back to play deep, but it runs 100 yards in less than 3.5 seconds kept Maniax taking the Touch Back all day and the power and speed of last years top threat #17 b- Jets QB turned TE/TB/MLB another fine base by Coach Norbert. This years #12 QB another Coach -Lo special kept the game interesting with roll out passing and an occasional keeper.

The key to keeping Coach Joe's Pass/Run threat was the utilization of a talented Lb corp a combination of Coaches K-Lo', Norbert, Jim.D.

Hats off to Coach Joe.G , last play 3rd and 10 #17 makes reception for the 1st down but out of no where his d comes up to save the TD. Classic Garden State Region Defense. "You wanna be the best, play with the best" and the entire EFL family is just that the..."The Best"

Both Coaches missed a couple of passes, but Coach Joe missed a key FG that could have tied it up. A great game indeed.

We still have an entire NHFL season to go..........

Thumbs up Fighting White Bears 21 -vs- Bombing Jets 6

Coach Ed a "A" game for sure thanks for coming with your integrity and humor as always. As soon as I can download the pics I will post. Coach Ed had a Tb that scored 2x off the break and a sweet pass to the corner of the endzone on 4th down. Coach K scored the first running TD on Coach Ed in quite a while 88 yards off tackle.

** Coach thanks again for coming down & bringing your son and I saw the shoes go off I was glad you were comfortable as my guest. After DJ'n 2 parties last night until 4:00AM and getting up early to teach karate.....and then playing you when you are running on all 8 cylinders.......I must rest

Again it is always a pleasure to play win or lose against you Coach Ed we may argue a few calls but at the end of all of the games we still maintain our friendship

Again Coach Ed you are true class act!!!

Coach Joe I salute you on your victory in a hard fought battle. 3-3 in OT and the additional 3 points for the yardage. 6-3 now we are split for the season.

p.s let me warm up my truck first, before you kick me and the Bombing Jets out.

The count down to the playoffs begins.........
