Default Hey DM

What about Mike Jones' tackle of the Titans receiver on the 1?

I thought about it. I think most any linebacker whould have made that tackle. At least that's how I saw it. Compare that to the LT fumble recovery or the Franco Harris catch.

Truly amazing!!

Guys.

I don't know if you are familiar with the Eric Wright tackle but I have the original video. Pearson had the 49ers secondary beat AFTER the Dwight Clark catch if Wright didn't tackle him.

On the next play, Danny White was stripped by Lawrence Pillers who basically muscled through his man and smacked White across the side of his head and chest, stripping the ball and putting 49ers in the Super Bowl. The Cowboys had already gotten into 49ers territory and I believe they would have beat them. Why are those key plays never mentioned?

NFL Films sometimes has to do more to show what really happened rather than just offering the most attractive and popular version.

If that ball hit the ground it would have bounced off of the astro turf. That was a catch my friend.
