Default New College League in the Southland!

It is 1:00 am Friday morning and we have just had our first college football meeting in the heart of the south - South Carolina. Thanks go all the great coaches who attended - Butch Carter, Lavell Shelton, Joel Pritchard, Chris Franco, Mark McElfresh and Benny Gibson! I had a great time seeing everyone again. Joel, thanks for the spread from Red Lobster. It was unbelievable. Thanks also for customizing those new figures for me and for others to make our league look better. Butch, thanks for driving 4 hours total to be here. Your enthusiasm for the game is contagious. Your college teams are the best I've seen. I can't wait to make mine shine like yours. Mark, it was great to see you again. I can't wait to see your old-school gator squad. Chris, it was great meeting you in person. Man, you are really old-school - bringing in an autographed Jim Marshall jersey! Welcome to our league. Lavell, as always you are the man. Whenever you come over, I get re-energized to paint more teams. Bennie, you bring excitement and laughter everywhere you go. Just who are you going to put at QB for North Carolina? Thanks for coming everyone and we look forward to starting our college league in January! Till then, hit the two-a-days.

Remember, we will be trying a variety of new ways to play. Anthony, we will be experimenting with many of the mult-stop ideas that you have been using. We are open to new ways of playing. Coaches, if you have ideas, jot them down and bring them to the next meeting and we'll discuss!

Here are the division breakdown:
North:
Lavell Shelton: Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Henry Gibson: Oklahoma Sooners
Chris Franco: Army (1950's style)
Butch Carter: Virginia Tech Hokies
Mat Wallace: Clemson Tigers

South:
Joel Pritchard: South Carolina Gamecocks
Beenutt: Tennessee Volunteers
Mark McElfresh: Florida Gators
Ben Kilgore: Southern California Trojans
Bennie Gibson: North Carolina Tarheels

BCS forever,

beenutt

Default Sounds Fun!

If I still lived in Fayetteville, NC, I certainly would make that trip on a weekend to play. I'd love to throw a Navy team in that mix.

Have fun guys!

Beenutt,
I enjoyed getting together with all the guys again and so thrilled about new ideas and options of different styles of playing the game.
I couldnt sleep well my mind racing in so many different directions on what I want to work on , figures, bases , and new plays. I will do all I can to help anyone new or feels they are not up to par on their equipment so we all can be competive.
To everyone else in the league , you all are some of the greatest guys or friends anyone could ask for.
Butch I didnt realize how much I miss seeing your talent and excitement for the game, see ya next week at your place for some serious scrimmage time.
Mark , just glad you are back and going to give us a time with those Gators. I know we will scrimmage more than most and will work on your board or whatever project you want to work on , enjoy every time we get together.
Chris, I know we have only gotten together a couple times so far, but I know we are going to see alot of each other and get your teams together and see how they stack up in our league , Im excited as you are to see how they are going to turn out. I welcome your new freindship and all your new imput.
Lavell , what can I say you help CRE-ATE this , but IM not complaining ,I have just missed hanging out with you so much and you giving so much of yourself and the knowledge Ive acquired from you . I hope to absorb some more today when we get together. I am so glad to be a student in your school of football experience and just sharing your christian values and life with me is so special.
Benny, always a blast cutting up with you.rtfl$ But you know all joking aside when we get on the board..
Beenutt, I feel so lucky to have a wonderful friend as you , and a plus to be nieghbors to your Miniature Football Toys R Beenutt's Store, . Ive almost been around now for a year and wow what a ride its been.
I look foward to many more especially when its around the quality of people that you are Bryan.
I am so thankful for my wife putting me in contact you with last year.
Well my fingers are getting tired.. whew...
Til next time ,, my brothers in football and life.

Awesome-congrats guys and we can't wait to see how the league develops. When you get all your info together be sure to get it to Matt so that it can be added to the league directory.

Thanks Adrian,
That means alot coming from you , I respect your skills as much as anyone Ive met in this hobby. I only wish you were here to be a part of this league as well as our regular Dixie league.
Im not that busy working in the winter months so possibly we can meet somewhere soon and get some guys together to play and fellowship ..
Wish you well and hope you have a safe and blessed time at Christmas and the rest of the holiday season.
