The way they get colors in the plastic injection process.. (in my experience).. is merely the color of pellets and how many they drop in to the mix with the clear/white pellets.. You can have pretty much any color you want. This is why you get different shades on different runs... different color to clear/white mixtures.

I have melted some pieces for slot cars togther using a wood burning pencil. Maybe that may work. :o

I tried the same thing as Shabby J before I knew such thing as an ITZ dial. I saw Reginald's Youtube video "America's Team" and my dad and I came up with that. I made 2, but couldn't get the dial to turn, so the figure would only run one way (to the side.)
