Creating Steve Largent in Real Time

Next step is to paint the pants and hat. This is easy enough. I am using a Humbrol Metallic silver for this Seahawk. I will allow this to dry. Then I will tackle the Shirt, socks, and shoes. While the drying is taking place, I am going to print off some '80's Seahawk decals for Steve Largent.

Went on and sped up process and added jersey and socks to Largent. Also, added the white of the eyes to the player as well.

Also, wanted to see how he would look with the backdrop of Wrigley Field.

The 'Hawks wore black shoes back in the Kingdome so I am putting some flat black paint on the shoes. I will take a break because my kids and wife are screaming to get me to go get something to eat. I'll be back in about an hour!

I'm starting a movement to use the players' feet instead of their base when it comes to sideline and endline catches. BUT IN THIS CASE...Will he get his 2nd foot down in time?

from Burger Street! Everything else was close. Not a creature was staring, not even a mouse! Mickey D's, Burger King, Sonic, Whataburger, Junk-In-the Box, and Sonic all closed! Even the Krogers, Albertsons, and every grocery store was close!

I'll finish it in the morning. Need to create Seahawk decals and I am tired!

It's about 2:10 CST and I finally got finished with this piece. Usually, it takes about 2-3 hours to finish a piece like this.

Some steps were left out to get to this point because I was tired. However, let's see what we can do from here.

The next step is to put the eyes in the player. First, you begin by making a white circle where the eye imprint is shown in my figures. You then wait for it to dry. Then use a .005 mm micro pen to dot an eye in the white. You then color around the eye to give it an oval shape.

Also, at this point, I would shave th ridges of the player's shoulders/arms off. If you use the correct instrument, it is a pretty quick process.

I would then heat the arms to smooth out any rough edges.

This step has been left out because it usually takes about an hour before the stuff dries. You put a coat of Modge Podge on the platfoform and then dip the player in the turf/grass or even wood chips!

Allow it to dry and then paint the platform using Christmas Green Apple Barrel. This is a step many people don't take the time to do which makes the player look unfinished and rather messy in my opinion.

Allow it to dry. Then put a light coat of Modge Podge over the platform.
