Befl Champ Has Been Crowned
FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO ALL OF THE COACHES THAT MADE THIS HAPPEN. THIS SEASON WAS VERY COMPETITIVE. WE HAD SOME NEW FACE AND THEY PLAYED WELL. THIS IS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST LEAGUES AROUND. BUT ONCE AGAIN KELVIN LOMAX IS AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME WITH A 25-7 WIN OVER WARREN JEFFERSON THATS RIGHT I SAID WARREN JEFFERSON. WARREN HAD A GOOD RUN IN THE PLAYOFFS AND PLAYED WELL. SINCE ALOT OF OUR COACHES ARE GOING TO BE COACHING LITTLE LEAGUE FOOTBALL NEXT YEAR WE WILL BE MOVING OUR PRO LEAGUE TO MARCH. OPENING WEEKEND WILL BE MARCH THE 8. SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET DOWN WITH US AND ARE SERIOUS ABOUT COMING AND PLAYING PLEASE EMAIL ME AT FOOTBALLWORK1@VERIZON.NET. Great showing
That was some spread of food at this event! Cameras were everywhere, I will post a few of my pix. Tom, you should post a few of the stats if you have them.
Yes, Warren Jefferson was in a zone! He beat Ed Scott in the last weekend of the reg season to cement his spot in the playoffs. He defeated my Titans in the #4 vs #5 seeded game. Yeah, I was 9-1 and on the road!!!! Healey as a #7 seed, upset the #2 seeded Redskins coached by Ty Ware. Then Warren overcame a bad start vs the Healey and his Falcons, at one point trailing 14-3 to pull out the victory (forget the score???) Then Lomax, who had beat big Keith in the first game, put an end to the cinderfella Warren Jefferson in the final! Lomax had 2 teams qualify for the 8 team playoff tourney. Pictures coming soon!!! Congrats to both Lomax and Jefferson for making it to the big dance, you cats had to get threw some tough competition I see, excellent job done and wonderful pics.
