Question Where can I find bleachers? Any idea?

Where can I find bleachers? any idea? I'm looking for end-zone bleachers or grandstands similar to the one at the end zone in this picture.

I obviously do not want anything for the sidelines since that is where I stand. But something for each end zone would be cool.

Any ideas? Links? Thoughts? Comments?

Could I build my own? What would I use?

Any and all help would be appreciated very much.

Thanks!

BigFranco ... check with Mr. Rutledge ... he builds complete stadiums ... he might be able to lead you in the right direction.

I like to stand behind the play , not at the side.
You could most likely build your own but it would be alot of effort.

We are now using the Burgess DVD method down here in SC. You are not allowed to stand in the end zone at any time.

Default Great question!

I have wanted those type of seating setups for my gameboards FOREVER. They remind me of junior high, high school, and small college games.

I tried to make one from craft wood (small sticks and pieces of flat 4inch by 3 inch paneling-like wood), but it turned out looking like crap, so I gave up, frustrated like never before.

I'll try the Subbuteo route, hopefully I can find something.

Okay, here's what I found on eBay as far as subuteo bleachers go:

Subbuteo search on Ebay is your best bet. They can usually be had for a good price. They always have spectator figures for sale too.

I play Subbuteo in addition to MF, if you are a soccer fan it's really incredible.

BigFranco, how is that working for you guys? The thing about staying on your own sideline in Anthony's system? How are you passing TTQB or sticks or both? I played a solitaire game tonight on my new 308 and was moving all around the field to pass with my TTQB. I imagine there is a learning curve to passing while remaining on your sideline.

We are using BOTH. Its the coaches option.

Because you release receivers it would be too easy to pass downfield if you were allowed to throw with the TTQB from the end zone for passes other than screens. Down-field you really need to pass with the sticks, and then you can play Cover 2 defense or zone by using magnets. Its really a great system.

VERY REALISTIC and WAY MORE STRATEGY WITH THE STOPPAGES

I have found that you can not play with a TTQB where the coach is allowed to throw from the end zone AND have the rule where receivers must be released at the LOS in combo. Its just too easy for the offense. Ridiculously unrealistic completion percentages result.

To me its very simple. Either you are allowed to mug and hold receivers and then you can pass with a TTQB from the end zone, or you are not allowed to pass with a TTQB from the end zone and receivers must be released.

The latter is so much more like real football it ain't funny!

The ONLY downside to the Burgess system is the fact that games take a lot longer with the in play stoppages and timers. 3 to 5 hours. But, it goes by so fast. It sounds long, but when you are playing it goes by like a snap. Its an incredibly fast pace system. WAY more strategy than any system I have played so far.

I totally endorse the Burgess system.

I was very skeptical at first, but after seeing the DVD, and actually playing a game using the system, I am 100% sold. It is without a doubt THE best and most realistic way to play MF.

Default How much did Burgess pay you!!!??

Naw, I agree with you. It's very realistic. Do you play with the weights under the men as well?
