Judging by ESPN
It looks like the show came on at 2:30 instead of 3:00, I just checked the guide.
P.S. Did anybody catch it, and did you record it ?. Norbert

they gave us the wrong time.....
They gave us the wrong time.... it started at 2am and not 3am
Here are the highlights from what caught...a few minutes into it.... First, my son woke me up saying he was looking and saw EFL on ESPN and they were talking to Big Keith......so I turned on the set and boom, there it was.... They had interviews with Norbert, Big Keith, Ron Bell, I don't know if Beenutt was interviewed because they were the ones playing in the NFC & AFC championship rounds.... We all know about the super-slow motion of NFL films, well Ron Bell's KR (I think it was Reggie Bush) was the super slow-mo player highlighted and he took it to the house! All in all, a great peice and surely something that could be a spring board for Made for Cable series (c) Some on the ****** floor show plus some out-takes... Frank and Ken on the play-by-play.... some final scores from the game and Beenutt vs Ron Bell Title game...... |

I saw the entire EF story
It came out after Sportscenter. Lucky for me, I had recorded the Sportscenter (which was supposed to be 1 1/2 hours, but was only 1 hour long). So I had the NFL films on my DVR, but it was on the Sportscenter slot.
The EF piece was pretty good. They interviewed NFL coaches, who gave their impressions of electric football. I think Herm Edwards had the most memorable moment when he was told that there are EFL leagues and tournaments across the country today. I hope this is a springboard to more media coverage for electric football. I mean I can only take so many episodes of "Madden Nation". |

Btw
On Weirdwolf's replay of the famous 65 toss power trap, the Viking player caught Mike Garrett before he reached the end zone. As an opposing coach, I would have to challenge the play.

After further review...the play stands as called on the field! (I paused it over and over again ) Thus completes the longest challenge in history...almost 1 year before the play was challenged. Did you see the RG pull. I ran it for the NFL guys twice. The first one was better but I got so excited that it was working that I shut the board down to soon. I'm on the same piece of NFL Films that Hank Stram is. That is my electric football life highlight!
