Default The only way to keep MF alive is to,Do what you Do !

Whats Good my EF/MF Family

Today I had the pleasure of kicking it with my boy Manta Ray Dre. We tossed some thoughts around about the hobby. It was nice to chat about the hobby with someone who has a passion for it like I do. Its good to see some of the bad feelings and single minded ideas of the past fading away. This chat board and the advancements of so many great hobbyists in MF is proof that things are moving forward. But we as a collective group must accept that the hobby is to large with ideas and styles of play to have tunnel vision. Me myself dig alot of styles and aspects of the hobby. So i try to keep and open mind on things in the hobby. Im not to quick to say well I dont like this or I dont like that. Now are there certain things in the hobby that I might like better than other things yes, but I never kill or dog the things that i may not have beem exposed to. The hobby has alot of avenues to travel and me I want to roll down every street possible. The key to the continued growth in MF is an old Slang quote. Do What you Do, but Dont cut my throat for Doing what I Do. We all have our comfort zones. Areas that we are so comfortable in that venturing out and trying something new at times for some is difficult. but problems arise when another does not dig an aspect of the hobby and then drops the bomb on it because they personally dont dig it. Thats when Do what you Do should kick in. That way no personal feelings get involved. Im down no mattter how you play what figures you use or what weight is allowed or what bases or boards are used . Do what you Do, because that way I know the Hobby I love will be alive and well.

Stay Blessed

Nice post Big Lock.

Whether you play on a 620 or newly custom big boards its all good. Whether you play with old Tudor teams or customized teams with various figures its all good. Whether you are a base tweaker or a painter, play solitaire or love to compete, play one stop or multistop, we are all here because we share a common interest. Thanks for the reminder Big Lock.

Default i agree too

this is like anything else........the hobby has multiple interests and directions............i think the modern era teams and creations are truly works of art and so more detailed but i still prefer the olf tudor teams from the 60's and 70's.....but that is ok too...........there is always room for growth and forks in the road.
