Default Footballfigures.com will be there

Footballfigures.com has decided to make the trip to Virginia for the SWB.

If there is anything in particular you would like to see us bring, please let me know.

Things I know we will be doing:
1. Customizing class on all new poses never seen!

2. Strategy Session on running actual plays

3. Shootout Series Rules Promotion Session

4. Anything else you want to discuss in the world of FF.COM

Default The Seawall Brawl!!!!

TRON SPEAKS!!!

My brethern, once again we will all come together for the excitement of the game. The thrill of competition will be high! I have heard challenges being made, coaches are flexing their egos through plastic and the woofing is getting louder. Are you ready? Do you have what it takes to win the belt? Can you take the Candy from the baby! Foolish Mortals! I have seen egos shattered and tongues turned to stone due to an over eager attitude! Slow your roll freinds many of you have yet to taste the fury at Buzzfest, The Clash in Beltsville or the heat at BAMA! Feild your best teams! Learn the rules! Fill your hearts with the spirit of competition and the goodwill of commoradery. Bow your heads and lift a drum stick of obediance to the great and powerful Tron! See you at the Brawl, if you dare! I hope you dare!

Cool Sorry I'm late with my party invitation...

Miniature Footballers United would cordially like to invite everybody to the 3rd annual Seawall Brawl. It will be held June 20-22 at the beautiful Holiday Inn Olde Town waterfront in Portsmouth Virginia. Jimbo and his crew have many things planned for the coaches who are in attendance. I explained to Jimbo back in January that it’s going to be nearly impossible to fit everything he wants to do in a 3-day event. There just aren’t enough hours in the day to do it all. Jimbo and I are both stubborn so despite the laws of physics we are going to attempt to stuff 40lbs of Brawl in a 10lb bag. I really don’t know how everything is going to play out, however the “BIG RIG” known as the Seawall Brawl will roll on schedule regardless of the speed bumps.

I want to thank Mr. National, CorEy Johnson for dubbing the Seawall Brawl as the “Big Rig” in an issue of the Tweak magazine. It’s a great nickname for the event, conjuring up visions of an 18-Wheeler (pedal to the metal) barreling down the highway. I also want to thank my brother Dave Campbell for designing this year’s tournament logo. Outstanding job Dave, that baby is HOT!

Last years Brawl was the greatest collection of coaches that I have personally ever seen in this community at one time. We had a wonderful blend of new coaches, seasoned veterans, young lions, and great champions all vying for the Seawall Brawl World Heavyweight Championship.

Normally I don’t start thinking about the Brawl until March, but last year we were overwhelmed by the temporary blackout and by the number of coaches (and their families) in attendance. This year we want to be ready for anything and everything, and with that being said I would like to thank these coaches for volunteering to be apart of the event staff: Sean Carter, Ed Roche, Darian Ross, Kelvin Lomax, and a Legendary coach who shall remain nameless (per his request) at this time. We also have a great group of coaches who have offered to help out anyway they can: Norbert, Biglock, Wally J, Dre, Coach J, and many more. I want everybody to know that I didn’t ask anyone of them for help, and that I’m deeply touched and appreciative that they would extend themselves for this tournament.

Now on to the business at hand…

This years Seawall Brawl has a theme: The Legends Ball. A group of legendary coaches from yesteryear will be gracing us with their presence in June. I for one never thought I would see some of these gents under one roof. It wasn’t due to any conflicts so to speak, but some of these guys left the game and have been out of contact for a while. It will be good to finally break bread with these coaches. The ones, who have spoken to me personally, have said that they are playing in the tournament.

Our kid’s tournament will take center stage this year. The kids will be located in the prime portion of the ballroom so that they will be accessible to the news media and film. The championship will be decided in a full game and played on a custom board. The kid’s championship will also be accorded all the respect that the adult championship receives.

Jimbo has a lot of surprises up his sleeve for this years Brawl participants. Some of which will only be revealed at the tournament itself. We are currently working on things to make this year’s event better than last year. Updates and important announcements will be made on this thread, so please check back every now and then so you guys don’t miss anything.

*************** Important Announcement *********************

I’ve been informed that we have less than half of our rooms left. I’ve also been informed that a great number of coaches have reserved rooms for Sunday and that a handful of coaches have even reserved rooms on Monday. If you’re a coach who is staying Sunday or Monday and you (and your family) want to hangout with Jimbo, our families, and me… just let us know, so we can plan for it.

For coaches who plan to come a day early or leave a day late the hotel is honoring the room rate. Guys I know its only February but with the two festivals going on that same weekend, it’s going to be harder (if not impossible) for me to secure more rooms the closer we get to June.

************************************************** ********
I look forward to seeing everyone that I know, and meeting those of you that I don't know.

Peace,

Don Smith
