Brandon Jacobs?
Well, I am giving it a try anyway...
First batch of FF.com figures ever and what am I doing...chopping some of them up!  I think I have him in a decent position...and have applied the early paint... A lot of work still ahead...but those stripes on the pants turned out pretty good I think (I painted them on)... I need to figure my camera out (3.1 mega pixel)...I am struggling to get a nice detail pic... Anyway...here are a few early pics...

Hey, you nailed the gray on the Giants pants! That ain't no easy thang to do! What color and what brand o' paint did you use on those Giants pants? I need to get that!

and the paint is actually a mix...
I am doing a Giants team (before I decided to give Jacobs a try) and on those guys I was using Modelmaster Acryl "Light Grey" (flat). With Jacobs, I added a touch of flat black to darken it a little. I Am A Die-hard Giants Fan And The Paint Job Is Outstanding....did You Say That You Painted The Pant Stripes....if So They Look Just Like The Stripes From A Decal Sheet That Is An Awesome Pose...i Wish The Real Brandon Jacobs Ran That Low....he Would Really Be Efeective Then....nice Pose And A Great Looking Figure

Jacobs update...
Everything so far is paint...will probably print and apply numbers tomorrow...
The first and last pix are after I cleaned up the gloves a little and painted the base... Still need to clean-up the pants stripes a little and do a little bit of shoe work...will probably leave the helmet logo off for now... Last edited by SteelerFan1967 : 02-17-2008 at 01:31 AM.

Jacobs Done!
Ditched the painted shoulder stripes for decals...painted ones were too wide...
Included the helmet logo... Touched up a few things and added a little detail to the shoes... Overall, I think he looks good...it was a lot of work but he turned out better than I expected... Last edited by SteelerFan1967 : 02-18-2008 at 02:11 AM.
