Those are exactly the look I was thinking of...BUT...I never thought of making those changes with that figure. There are a lot of good options in those pix. Very creative stuff there!
Anybody know if heat is used to do that (after separating one leg from the base)? I think I have to risk melting a player or two and see if I can make a few like that. |

I think the trick used to make the nice muscles in the arms is to actually use the legs off of Haiti repros, or older hong-kong figures...(Then you flaten the shoe to make a hand, or cut and paste hands from other figs...)

im no expert but,
When i was chilling with Uncle Don he explained the process, its like figure sculpting, Cut and Paste but on a whole more advanced level, CR and Don, the Great J Boy and DC when making there figures save every piece of figure parts they have. once they get the figure set and mounted they use other parts added to the shoulders, legs biceps hands and sculpt them to the look the want with a dremmel. I remember Don showed me some Big Belly lineman that were off the meter! its skill guys practiced and mastered skill.
