Default honoring a great man during the wake of black history month "anthony burgess"

I TRIED WRITING THIS 5 TIMES BUT MY COMPUTER KEPT KICKING ME OUT DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

Once in a great while,an iconic figure grace's us with there being. We the electric football community are honored to have the founding father of the "MPFL'. Yes dear friends, anthony burgess, one of the greatest football minds to ever lace up a base to a figure. Mr burgess was on the front lines many many years ago doing battle with some of the all time greats on superbowl fields accross the U S of A. His resume speaks volumes in our society and that's what lead him to create a new system for his peers to enjoy.

The MPFL is a wonderful system that mimick's playing in the NFL on a smaller surface. The multi stops allows you to create play's and watch them develop into an executionary delite. (IF EXECUTIONARY IS NOT A WORD, IT IS NOW!!!) my favorite item in this system is the floating football, once your receiver reaches the ball, it hit's them in the hands or chest. That's what i call catching a pass. Mr burgess, who is also the founder of pass placement, has givin the ef world a new avenue to explore in the passing game. I can certainly see this system being played on television in the near future. It takes a loyal individual and dedication to sit down and develop a system that concluded after seven years, A person should be commended for having such desire in there hearts. Many coaches misunderstand Mr burgess but to sit and speak with the bear bryant of miniature football, many opinions would change dramatically. Im honored to be the first in history to buy his dvd at the miggle convention in baltimore 3 years ago.

Anthony burgess, thank you for being part of our community and gracing us with your football wisdom. You are a historic figure amongst us and it is a pleasure to call you my friend.

MOVE OVER VINCE LOMBARDI, YOU HAVE COMPANY.

Default i have never said anything about AB before

until now. i have held back my opinion simply because my momma taught me, if you dont have anything good to say, then shut your trap!

but at the same time i have met many people who speak highly of him.

it has come down to this for me.
the people who have met and spoken to Mr. Burgess, think the world of him.
for the rest of us who just read his posts, we have formed a different of opinion that has been discussed many times (dont wish to get into this debate again).

so i want to meet this guy and see what the deal is for myself. Mr. Burgess does have good things to say, but in the posts, they come across as arrogant, self absorbed and bossy. yet many say he is not like that at all.

so with this said......
MR. BURGESS, IF YOU ARE EVER IN NYC, AFTER DRE WINES AND DINES YOU, I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE YOU OUT FOR A FEW DRINKS.
i would love to sit down and talk football with you and hear some of the good things you have to say. Hey, meet me in BigLock in Miami at Wet Willies one day
Hope to meet you at the SeaWall, and i will be looking forward to that DVD that explains your system.

Guys,

I know that Anthony gets a bad wrap on this site. His posts tend to upset people. But I challenge you to talk to him. He has a passion about EF/MF and loves the game of football. I think that all of us here share passion as well. So before you judge him have a conversation with him first. I think that you might change you mind.

Default Look

I'm not questioning his passion and love for the game at all. I'm laughing at
the comparison to MLK. At some point we have to say come on man stop it
please.Thats what the angry post were about i'm sure. When you start comparing hobbiest to iconic members of history who basicly sacraficed his
life so that me and mine could move forward ,at that point its a wrap.

Default Another Thought On Anthony Burgess

Coaches,

i was speaking with don smith and he was telling me last year at the seawalll brawl ant burgess was one of the only few who offered to stay behind and help clean up at the tourney. While many headed went back to there rooms (MYSELF INCLUDED) ant wanted to help don and jimbo fold up tables, put things away, etc etc. That's part of his character that you cant and wont see on this chat board. people are far different up close and personal then they are on a chat board. Come to the brawl this year and you will see.
