Default Welcome to the Brotherhood, Norb!!!

It's great to see you come on board Norbert. We think your personality is contagious and you will fit right in with the culture of the league. You are definitely helping strengthen the AFC side of the house and if I can help in any way, you already know.

Once we get these league fees brought in, we will get the schedules done and figure out whats your best dates to come. In the DFW, we really just want 2 Road Warriors coming in on any given weekend. But we will discuss later. The Chiefs is a proud franchise in the DFW League. They have won one Championship and still holds the longest win streak in league in history of 37 straight games.

Marcus Allen led them to an undefeated 17-0 season and their defense ranked 1st overall with a 8.7 pts./game average in 1997 season.

We think an lot of you in the DFW and we will do everything in our power to accomodate your stay here in the DFW League.

Reg

Default piece of cake

Norbert,

Don't let them scare you. You won't have any trouble with the pace of play there in Texas. Just bring a towel with you - you might sweat a little bit.

Default Oh yeah....

......and have the popcorn ready baby!!! Norb believe me man, I keeps me a towel on deck for every game because I run a hurry up offense!! You might wanna cut down to a pack of cigs a day instead of two packs big man!! May your arse whoopins come in bunches my friend!!! Say Norb just imagine you running 45 offensive plays in a game 40 defensive plays in a game and about 20 special team plays. That is about 105 reps bro. Any giving Sunday my man!! You can be down by a DUB + and still have a shot to win in this league. This is why when I go back to Cali net month I am putting on a clinic fo my boys about this thing.

Norb check this scenario, you down by 6 with about 40 seconds left to play. The opposing team is kicking off to you and they roll a 3 on the dice. This means the ball was kicked out of bounds and you take possession at the 40yd line. This gives you just 60yds to paydirt. First play you got a man wide open and you hit him but he runs out of bounds at the 3yd line.

Time is a essence because you have burned all your timeouts but it is still :32seconds left on the clock. You finally punch it in with :7 seconds left. Now it is tied up with the extra point to come. You make it!!

Now you have to get the special teams together because you know the other team has a Hester type return man deep. You line up and shake the box and roll a 80 on the dice which means 5yd line and 3 sec hang time. Set is cut on but only one defender is unengaged when the hang time is run off, at that point you can angle only that man at the returner.

At this time it is :7 seconds left in the game. Returner is angled and the set is cut on, after getting missed by your man who just barely goes by him he is on his way to the house but as time elapse he goes out of bounds at the 4yd line alomost winning the game but ran out of gas!!!!

You are never out until it is zero's on the clock!!! You got to love it!!!

Default I hear you cats on the towel

Beenutt, I was just havin some fun with broncoman on the time thing, playing by a clock (setup times for each play) I'm pretty used to it, sometimes when I'm on defense in games I would call set with a ton of time left and the offense isn't even set yet, the coach would look at me and laugh, I will be ok, (6 seconds baby), RJ, I quit drinking totally, ciggs next man, I got to break that morning routine with the coffee, and after food, after that it's easy. well I keep telling myself that, I never stop trying to quit, and I'm at a pack aday knuclehead not 2 (smile).

P.S. RJ, you gonna need abit more then a towel to whip sweat away when we play youngfella. (I'm whoppin that A_ _), see you cats soon, like in june.

Default RJ

After reading that, I kinda got pumped, LOL, I can't wait to join in the fun with you guys this up coming season, and the amount of plays per game is just plain awesome.

P.S. I'm looking into trying to come down in late july to hangout for 4 days, I will let you guys know what I can come up with.

Norbert
