Here is an idea...
I saw this when I was shopping for furniture the other day on line. It is a foosball coffee table...how cool would it be to have a miniature football coffee table...yes...you guessed it...I am going to build one! Any ideas from anyone? I could make the glass part into a clear dome...aka Texas Stadium...It would also be cool to have the stadium around the field. I am half tempted to buy this one...leave the stadium on the inside and put a field in it....
Any thoughts anyone?

That is an excellent idea. The table looks like a stadium. When your done post some pictures. I always wanted to set a playing field inside of a pool table. The outter edges of the table would be the sidelines. I dont have the space to accommodate a pool table. I ain't about to give up the big DLP TV. Maurice The Electric Coach

table stadium idea
That is way cool. I am a cabinet maker / woodworker by trade. I work for a company that does museum exhibts and trade show booths and exhibits. We do a lot of out of the ordinary stuff not just your average cabinetry.
Shoot me some ideas and maybe I can help you with figuring out how to build it and what materials to use. Thanks, Chris

$7600.00!!!!?????!!!!!!
  from what i can tell, it's just oak. they didn't even take the time to make the corners look nice, just left the edges exposed threw in a couple of bolts. big deal! it's not that hard to cut wood at 45 degrees and glue it and brace it. for $7600.00, that would definitely be on my list of expectations, along with a more exotic wood. i'm willing to bet that the players are the cheap, plastic faceless ones too.
