what is the MM scale size for EF/MF figs?
Hey my EF/MF family:
Question what is the MM size of the figs we use, im asking so that i have the specs for a figure maker in england that is interested in our hobby, and check this he wants to do a miniature version of Rugby, but he may be a source of new figs for us if all goes well weve been in touch for almost two years now he was very sick, but he's on the mend and very excited to attempt EF/MF figs, he also was asking about big boards, I dont know much about Rugby but he said the feild was bigger |

We ran through this a couple of times while you were MIA...
Here are a couple of links to those threads. http://www.miniaturefootball.com/for...light=scale+mm http://www.miniaturefootball.com/for...light=scale+mm The short answer is 25-28 mm as per Chris Fields 5-13. By the way Chris does this kind of work for a living and designed a Tom Landry coach figure being produced by Impact Miniatures which will be released around July. It comes with 3 heads so you can do a Jack Del Rio, Landry or other suit wearing coach.

i have only seen the photos of the figure with the one head that were posted on this site. all 3 heads were meant to be somewhat generic, loosely based on real coaches.
1) older coach with a fedora style hat, resembles landry and bear bryant 2) middle aged coach (which was pictured) was modeled after jimmy johnson, hank stram and chuck noll. 3)younger coach, modeled after del rio, wears a headset. the sculpted work that i have seen is fantastic and they will be a great addition to anybody's sidelines.

Not sure if this is going to be exactly what you're looking for but here ya go. This is based on the hobby standards. I.E., what has been around the longest, has been used the most in mainstream America, and has the most product sold and the most available product.
Figure Specifications Maximum Height – 38 mm or 1.5 inches (bottom of stand to top of helmet) Maximum Length – 33 mm (rear most extremity to fore most extremity) Maximum Width – 29 mm (left extremity to right extremity) Hope This Is Of Some Use, -Mike Pratt |
