Angry What's Going On? Is NFL usurping websites?

Weirdwolf tried to visit your uniform website I got bookmarked, YOU ARE NOT THERE!!! Tried another bookmarked site NFLhistory.net to get information
on early seasons, it's GONE TOO!!! One other site I have is working, but
I won't say what it is. Who knows watching and what's going on?

Anybody else having this problem?

(I know about Reg)

Default N.F.L. , money gobbing #__)@$ !

Owners , led by Jerry Jones , are becoming greedy ! First , they go out and take miggle's pro teams. Then they give Reg alot of problems. Now , if you try to get into like some of the archives websites for painting teams and etc. you'll find most of them closed down. The reason I use Jerry Jones is
'cause whenever it seems N.F.L. has issues he's always in the middle of it. The only good thing he's done lately is the creation of the N.F.L. Network. Sorry "Cowboys" fans. I wish NOT to offend any of ya but this is the truth !

Several sites listed on this forum that I book marked no longer exist...and that is in the last 3 months! It would be nice if the owners of those sites explained what happened (like Reg). I know it's a tedious task but perhaps this forum/site could update/remove those old or non working links from the "sticky" threads.

Is there anything we can do to help you with that Wolf?

Well the bottom line is that manufacturers of figures and such.. just aren't going to be able to showcase their products painted like NFL or NCAA teams..

I know George had to smudge out all the NFL logos on the painted figures on his site.. EVEN THOUGH.. they were just an example of what YOU could do with them.. Cuz he doesn't sell painted NFL or NCAA teams on his site.

Sure.. it seems a little ridiculous.. and the NFL and NCAA are some money grubbing pukes..

But on the other hand guys.. it is the law.. and they do have a right to protect their trademarks and registered logos.. Do they realize that the gross sales of those little logos wouldn't even come close to the fee they would charge in return for the right to produce legal logos? Maybe, maybe not.. but we all know they don't care. RE: Miggle.

Actually there is help that can be given. I am in need of MFCA members to step up and help with these tasks. I could use one or two people just to keep the links section up to date and I am open to any web suggestions but be prepared to step up to the task because the MFCA at this point is pretty much a 4 man operation unless there are those who have the time and want to get involved. I have asked in the past but the response is often less then the trouble to create the email. Dues paying members, this is your orginazation and it will only go as far as members are willing to get involved.

As for the uniform site, it will be back up. The host company misunderstood a request I made and let my .net address fold when I told them I no longer needed .com, .org etc.. I should be able to be back up Monday or Tuesday.
