Growth Is A Beautiful Thing
I am not sure what the actual age of this particular set is. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this model came after the model that used the metal players. I believe this model was from the 1950’s. This was long before I was born.
After looking over this piece of nostalgia, I couldn’t help but wonder, “Did Tudor ever imagine that this game would continue on the way that it has today”. At any rate, compared to what we play with now in regards to this hobby, we have grown tremendously. Maurice The Electric Coach

My first game
During the election of LBJ in 1964, I had my appendix taken out in an emergency operation.
I received a gift that had those men in it. It was a plastic field and ran on batteries. Later I got a 500 board with the men/base as one unit, the yellow and white's. Then when the n*f*l* teams came out I got a 620 Giants and Browns set. This all took place from 64-68. In 64 I was in 5th grade and used the football bases as boats when playing with my army men. The bases looked like little boats and there was little or no adjustment with them. It is fun to look back and see how far the game has come and being a part of the evolution. Rock Solid

If your league will allow it, those slippery little old school dudes can haul arse.
I saw some of them run and they could be wicked.
