Default Great Kicker

One of the best new MF product out now. You don't have go through 20 kickers to find 1 good kicker . Just buy the TDK you'll save yourself the headache.

It definitely requires skill but there is a consistency factor that is what sets it apart (as well as the TDQ).

I went to passing sticks and kicking cards because of the inconsistency and frustrations with trying to use the TTQB. Well....that is gone now.

Using the old TTQB...you were bending plastic to create force with very little control on how the plastic was being contorted (left or right) when making the play. This would result in some throws/kicks slightly left or right than where you wanted them and some throws/kicks that had more or less force behind it than you would anticipate.

With the springs....you have much more consistency. The kicker is great because you're not hoping for the right force and flick reaction when you release the catch. You actually pull the leg back to ensure the angle and force you want to apply to the ball.

As for the QB, your throws will almost always be straight because the arm pivots independent from the body. Again, the spring adds consistency to the force and accuracy of each throw as well.

In both cases you still have to use player angle, ball angle and ball position and practice for a consistent release of the spring....but the spring feature adds much more control and consistency to the equation.

Again, using springs instead of contorting plastic is the easiest way to explain why both work better. You don't have to be a pro to see results. The increased consistency and dependability with the TDQ & TDK will reduce the majority of the frustration many people experienced when trying to use the TTQB.

Question

As expected, I'm hearing all good things about the new kicker. I've already made up my mind to get one (or two). Enough of the the pros...are there any cons to the new TDK that we should know about?

Default BUMP

I just recieved a TDK and I want to say that this thing is GREAT!!! At first I was bombing kicks out of the park but then I switched to the proline (brown) footballs and then the EFDW big "pill" balls and it lowered the trajectory and it was a thing of beauty. I played around with that thing for over a half hour. I definately recommend a slightly heavier ball as thats what I've enjoyed using with it the most.

Great addition to the hobby Geno!
