Porche says, electric football is a land of imagination where "the big stars never die."

Thumbs up

I'm lovin the press and the education of a misinformed public.EF is exciting, requires, skill, and strategy and also his thrilling action. Can someone tell me why chess is so well respected and is quite boring (eventhough I like to play), and has almost no action at all,and some of those same people will mock EF??? Chess even gets on TV.What's up with that???

The answer to that question is pretty straight forward; chess has one set of rules that everybody knows, and the only bit of luck involved in it is right up front with the drawing for color. It is therefore a true test of one player's mastery of the game versus their opponent's. EF/BB/MF/(did I miss any?) has a lot of things going for it, but an objective measure of mastery ain't one of them. And before someone starts in with how uncreative chess is, I've seen some pretty creative, intricate, artistic, and beautiful chess sets in my life, and not one of those creative and artistic choices changed the rules of the game or how the pieces interacted with one and other. The genius of chess is in it's simple design. It takes five minutes to learn how to play the game, but a lifetime (or more) to master it.

Best of luck to those attending the brawl.
