Default What should be the height of a board with table legs?

Can anyone tell me when you are putting folding table legs on your board what should be the final height from the floor to field level. I ask because many people like to sit down while playing and I do not want to make it uncomfortable for them. On the other hand I do not want it to be so low that you break your back bending over to play? Is there a happy medium or how do you determine your field height.

Thanks
Mark

Mark,
That will be some tall board if its made to where you cant bend over and bother your back... What are you, 7' tall?? Oh, ok only 6'6" or 6'7" , and I know Im on the little peoples size. Only 5'8" so build it on legs that can be locked in at different levels like a canopy tent or tailgating tables.

Default Adjustable Table Legs

I have a lot of experience with these adjustable folding table legs and a lot of experience playing EFL on these table legs (9 years and counting now).

If your table legs are adjustable (i.e. you can change the height which is what I'm assuming you're talking about in your post) Instead of looking for a standard height to play on, why not focus on the word "adjustable" in the table leg and you and the guy you're playing against adjust the table height to what you both are comfortable with, it's takes less than a minute to adjust them. It's a very dynamic concept!!

Another thought, if it's your board and you're the home team, you set it to what you're most comfortable with and make the other coach adjust.

Good luck!

Jerry

Default Table Legs For Your Board

tbuc,

Here's what you want to do! Go to www.tablelegs.com. Stroll down to Height Adjustable. Click on Height adjustable folding table legs. The stock number you want is PDLAS-20-23/35 (20" Wide, Height range3" to 35"). Or call 410-771-5556, or 5564 and ask to speak to Howard. He'll hook you up!
