Here is the recipe for boiled bases. Get a little olive oil, cut up some onions and garlic, and your favorite herbs and spices, bring to a boil, then simmer and season to taste.

Enjoy

There are a number of threads on boiled bases. Here is one that gives a formula to do it.
http://www.miniaturefootball.com/for...highlight=boil

Try the search function of the forum to find more.
Click search in the teal green bar. Type in boil or boiled or boil bases, etc and see what comes up.

Boiled bases is actually a way to chemically alter the plastic to make it perform better on the field. Tweaking skills and techniques have evolved since the inception of boiled bases and will give you close to the same results you will get with a boiled bases. Others may disagree with that statement and they may be right. I have never attempted a boiled base but have competed against them with varied results.

This has been discussed to death ten times over.

I will say this again, I see it every time we get together in Los Angeles, boiled bases can be and are beat often by a well tweaked non-boiled base. You have to know how to tweak either way, so what's the problem with boiling you ask, let the rest of the country tell you.

The ban on boiled bases was and is just a knee-jerk panic mode reaction, it's just another way to enhace the performance of a base, another in the long line of tried and proven base tweaking techniques so why ban it?

I believe in the old "run what you brung" philosphy, that is, show up with all your tricks and gadgets on game day and may the best man win.

Don't get me started on stuff that is banned in MF!!!

Sorry!
