WHAT YOU ARE BRINGING TO THE YOUTH IS A PASS TIME,OF CREATIVITY,WHICH HELPS DEVELOPE THEIR ARTISTIC RANGE WITHIN THEMSELVES. THE RANGE THAT THE DEVELOPE WITH BE CARRIED THRUOGH OUT LIFE. IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT HANDS ON IS POSSESSION OF CREATION AND CONTROL. IT ALLOWS THEM TO CALCULATE,MEASURE,USE STERN JUDGEMENT,ALONG WITH FAIR PLAY. CHALLENGE,COMMITMENT ALL COMES FROM WITHIN,THE SITE OF A GOAL,AND TO REACH THAT GOAL ONE MUST BE DEDICATIED. THE VIDEO GAME CONTROLS ONES MIND,A CREATIVE SENSE IS OF ONES MIND,BODY,AND SOUL. IMAGINE THE START OF A WATER FALL!...................................ONE DROP BECOMES A MASS PIECE OF ART!

Get a hold of Matt Culp, Silverhorse, he did a presentation to the Boy Scouts that went over very well. he used a DVD for the main part of the presentation.

Thumbs up Hey Coach.....

bring 2-3 small 500 boards if you have them. They are easier to get to amongst the 3 and not overwhelming. Ask them what do they know about football....them perhaps ask them what they know about EF? Printout a couple pics of games , coaches..print right from the MFCA site. remember and don take it personal....kids attention span is short so get them to the board ASAP. See who may have had pop warner experience...ask position played..and then set up a play based on their position and tell them to either offensively or defensively counter your play. do this with as many as possible. Then get them to the boards. What I do is make 2 man teams a jr coach on O and 1 on D(same team...that way you have 4 jr coaches on 1 board working together.....that should get you out the gate......the pics of plays from the MFCA site will establish a play blueprint for the coaches w/o knowledge of the game. You gonna see some strange plays and may wanna step in but do it with minimal intrusion for they will get it in time. Send play packets as often as you can with pics from EF games for them to study and try to bring acceptional athletes so that you can keep them engaged. I am getting ready for my jr coaches back to school next week and our Teen Center...I use the same rule.. If you need anything Coach reachout.

I am only trying to do for you what other Coaches have done for me....share this thing we enjoy so much..."EF"

ALSO REMEMBER YOU ARE DEALING WITH PRE/TEENS HORMONAL INSTABILITY(DISSTRACTION COMES AT A WHIM) REMEMBER KIDS PREFER ATTENTION OVER OBJECTS. YOUR ENVOLMENT IS THE KEY TO SUCESS!!!REASON I SAY THIS! I'VE LOOKED AT THE TOY BOX FOR OVER 21 YEARS,AND SAY THE ATTENTION THE TOYS WERE GETTING. XMAS DAY WAS FIREWORKS,NEW YEARS DAY! I WANT SOMTHING NEW!!! I SUGGEST FOOYBALL HYPE!! NOW THAT WE ARE IN THE SEASON,AND AN INCENTIVE PLAN!WHAT MAKES A KID DO CHORES(ALLOWANCE) AS A MATTER OF FACT GET IN TOUCH COACH RAY,HE JUST CAME ON BOARD OUT OF NORWALK CA.HE'S COME OVER AND PURCHASED BOARDS FROM ME AND HAS LEAGUES AT CHURCH. THE PRIZE SKATE BOARD BROUGHT PARTICIPATION! TAKE HEED WHATS IN THE SITES OF 15 AND 16 YEAR OLDS.....(GIRLS) AND HORMONES ARE THE FUEL. SHOOT FOR 9 AND 12,THEY ARE RUNNING FROM ADOLESCENT BUT DO NOT HAVE RIGHTS TO TEEN HOOD. YOUR ATTENTION WILL BE THEIR WORLD! (YOU CAPTIVATE THEIR ATTENTION! YOU'VE GOT NEW COACHES,MATERIAL THINGS R NOT ALWAYS IMPORTANT!!! (TIME + VALUE = SUCCESS)......it's yo time!

Default promoting hobby

Well , I'm still in paperwork. Its a state home for youth and so I must follow through on alot to get in. I have met with some negativity but it seems we all do in this hobby. However , I have met with alot of positive people and I'm really energized about it. I'll keep everyone informed.

Default Im glad alot of peeps came to your aid.

Down here even though the Miami EF Club are younger the oldest is seventeen but he is the Big brother ref and moderator, if I could give you any advice let the boys shape what the collective will do. present all angles of the hobby, figs, styles, boards, equipment, painting, customization everything! that way each kid's own individuality shines along with groups, ya know some boys/girls maybe better coaches, but others maybe the next Jboy, Reg, or Rick Garrison, styles i guess simple at first, but on the real my boys went for the Big boy stuff custom figs with the Big men masks and the trimmings, Thank you to everyone who helped, and they play 4.0 buckout style there flip on shootout, and we have a blast, look my dude your competing with Madden , MP whatevers cells and texting, so u gotta keep there interest. Make it fun but let them show what there gifts and talents are, immerse them in the hobby youll be suprised what happens.
