Smile Much thanks to everyone for their help...Winter issue deadline is Nov 15th....

I want to thank all the coaches who donated their time, talents and stories for the upcoming Fall issue of The Tweak. I really feel that this is the best issue so far, and we dug deep and worked hard to make it a magazine worthy of all of you. I want to thank Corey Johnson, Coach J, Bob State, Mike Daley, Chris Fields, Maurice Robertson, Leonard Crawford, Jerry McGahee, Ray Fanera, Al Dunham and Lynn Schmidt. All these guys came through for me for this issue and I just wanted them all to know that they are appreciated.

I am preping for the Winter issue, so now is a good time to send me your article ideas for our annual Christmas issue. We will be going with a "Year in review" theme, so if anyone has any good stories for this year....give me a ring. Also, I really would like to have more game stratgedy article for the next issue, as well as, getting back to tweaking helpful hints (I am looking your way Jim Davis!) ...who wants to be the next Tweak Doctor!?

The Winter issue should be in your mailboxes the week before or the week of Christmas, so the deadline date has been moved up....

The deadline for all article submissions for the Winter issue is November 15th...so you have a month and a half to get me your articles.

Thanks to everyone for your support, I hope to hear from all of you!

Editor and Publishing Director of the only magazine for miniature football...The Tweak

The Fall edition is at the printer as we speak. It should be mailed out by the middle to end of next week.

That's good to hear Wolf. The Tweak is an outstanding magazine. It belongs on the shelves of Borders Books, Barnes and Noble next to other hobby magazines.

There is lots of way to help with The Tweak. Sitting down and writing an article is what most do. You can write about your MF experiences, helpful tips such as painting, tweaking or stragedy or you can write about you league or coaches you know.

But with all that said...maybe the biggest donation you can make is to just get the word out about the hobby. Take the issue to work and show it around to maybe pickup a new member or two. I also welcome your ideas and suggestions of articles that you would like to see in future issues...my phone is always open...574-722-1204

I also almost forgot....thanks Ed Scott!

Default Thanks Matt

For letting me share some thoughts. I enjoy the work and am more than willing to help out again. Strategy articles - let me know and I could possibly share some "secrets of a newbie - from the past" coach.

As for promoting - the BAM home "stadium" - The Toy Wiz in Nanuet has been great fo spreading the word. Mozeek brought copies of "The Tweak" which have been left on display for patrons to check out. We also have up one of the promotional posters.

Plus as other gamers some in to check our action we share all about the state of the game today, the MFCA is always mentioned with details about the website, magazine, etc...

That is great...I will take whatever you would like to send me...I am very flexible. I think Lynn and I need to get together and discuss some type of MFCA poster that we can distribute at low cost to coaches for businesses to display in their shop windows...something bigger than the back cover of the magazine...perhaps a movie size poster.

If we could make enough of them for every league, then they could be passed out to businesses and each league could put time and location of events. Perhaps a "erasable" type plastic for the poster, so they can be used over and over again....what do you think?
