Red peg - noun - The original total team control base. The front prongs were on a "peg" that pivoted at the front of the base allowing it to be turned in either direction. This peg was red in color, thus the term "red peg"

Passing dice - noun - Dice used by some coaches to determine if a pass was caught or not in place of the TTQB. They have also been used to determine fumbles and penalties.

Imaginary League (also Alternate League) - noun - A league consisting of non-real teams made up by the league's creator.

Plating - verb - A method of tweaking a base to make it stronger by placing a dish plate on top of it and letting it sit for a period of time in an effort to bend the prongs

Boiling - verb - A method of making a base stronger by boiling it in a mixture of water and oil

Idiot - noun - Any person who takes Ravenna Als advice for anything

'67 Bigmen- In 1967 Tudor brought out the 1967 deluxe figures painted to represent the then 16 NFL teams and 9 AFL teams. These men were very detailed and looked like the true NFL teams. The most sought after figures, these players have Hong Kong engraved on the bottom side of each figure. They are a little larger than the other figures. They have black shoes and are a little over an inch high.

HOGLEG- Figures are smaller than BIGMEN and only 4 players are marked Hong Kong on the bottom of their base. The 2nd most sought after by collectors. Called 'HOGLEG' because of the fat calves on figures.

CHICKEN LEG-'CHICKEN LEGS' were still NFL teams with black shoes, but none have the Hong Kong marking. Chicken legs were almost the same size as hoglegs but not as thick and not as detailed. Chicken legs were made from 1970 until 1974. The 3rd installment of men before the Haiti production of figures in the mid 70's.

HAITI-Haiti figures were bigger than Hoglegs but smaller than 67 Bigmen. "Haiti figures were bigger than Hoglegs but smaller than 67 Bigmen. Haiti figures were probably known best for nice neat paint jobs." At this time the figures were produced with white shoes instead of black, and this has remained so. Note: In late 70's production switched from Haiti back to Hong Kong. In 90's China took over production and has remained so.

Mag 7- The 7 pose figures of S.I.Warehouse. Commonly referred to as 'Buzzball' figures. The creation of George Diamond & Joseph Paras who used actual cut-up and re-built BIGMEN for the prototype poses. Easy to custom as the arms and in some cases heads and legs are glued on separately (see 'custom').

Buzztone- Mag-7s with skin tones already applied, including calves for the option of college or high school teams.
