No displeasure with Geno's TDQ !!!!!!!!!!!
COACHES,
aLL THE CURRENT talk about passing and the ttqb is no reflection on geno's creation the tdq. In fact, i find the tdq to be a fine piece of equipment as i stated in the pass. When they first came out i ordered three from geno. I must have practiced with it at least a thousand times and IT IS AS STRONG AS I FIRST GOT IT. All you guy's still buying ttqb's i dont get it. you know they are going to break down after 20 to 30 throws (NOT DISSING MIGGLE). IT IS A FACT AFTER I BROKE SO MANY OF THEM. How can you get a good practice session in when the leg gets weaker and weaker and you become hesitant to throw again because you are trying to save it from breaking. UNLESS YOU HAVE A TTQB FROM THE 70'S (THICKER AND STRONGER PLASTIC WHICH YOU CAN NOT FIND TODAY) YOUR PRETTY MUCH STUCK WITH THE CURRENT VERSION. UNLESS YOU BUY the TDQ your going to have the same problems. The other 2 are still in the package. I brought three to have as backup's in case one breaks. The first is just as strong as the day's long and i am happy a coach stepped up to the plate and made a product for all to use. Why everyone does not have one is beyond me. If you do the math. If you break 10 ttqb's in a year that's money you could have spent on a tdq. also, my whole thing is visual. maybe the reason i viewed these qb as toy is because many of us do not paint and decal them to match our teams. (myself included). I HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR NOT PAINTING MY TDQ YET !!!! But, if you have ttqb's that keep breaking down, how can you feel comfortable painting and decaling one when your in fear it will break soon. Buying a TDQ will alleviate all of this. You can detail it to the max knowiing it will stay strong fro yeara to come. NO DISRESPECT TO MIGGLE BUT THE TDQ IS FAR MORE ADVANCED FOR TODAY'S MINIATURE FOOTBALLER. I NEED A FAVOR, CAN SOMEONE POST SOME PICKS OF PAINTED TDQ'S IM TALIKNG 1)PAINTED EXACTLY TO MATCH TEAM 2)DECALS 3)FACEMASK'S MAYBE SOME FEEL/FELT IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME TO DETAIL THESE QB'S BUT THE VISUAL IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT LIKE THE REST OF YOUR PLAYERS ON YOUR TEAM. wolf, absolutely sweet !!!!!!!!!!!!
wolf, that what i am talking about. I love the chiefs qb. The bradshaw also.
you, those look like they are part of the team and NOT THE TOY THAT CAME IN THE BOX. I don't think many are aware of the detail work you can do with these. I SURE WASN'T !!!!! Absolutely professional looking and what needs to be on the field. NOT JUST A PLAIN WHITE OR YELLOW QB. I AM VERY IMPRESSED BY THAT LEN DAWSON FIGURE. THANX FOR SHOWING ME THAT!!!!! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE 5-13 PAINT ONE IN HIS STYLE. HEY WOLF, CAN YOU RUN A TDQ PAINT AND DECAL/DETAIL CONTEST. CUSTOMIZE IT THE BEST YOU CAN. mAYBE THIS WILL START A SERIOUS BUZZ. ACTUALLY THIS WOULD BE A COOL CONTEST TO SEE THE DIFFERENT QB POSES WITH THE TDQ ARM IN TACT MANTARAYDRE

People, you are not stuck with the current version, that is nonsense. In addition to buying good TTQBs on Ebay, you can also use the one from the Excalibur game if you happen to be fortunate enough to have one or some of them.
If you like the TTQB, there are options, don't crank back on the dang arm so hard and the TTQB from Miggle will last enough, I know this through experimentation. I am can hold my own with the air ball and they last for me through quite a few games. I see a lot of guys pass and they are really cranking the arm back, I don't think that is necessary the majority of the time. This post addresses those that like the TTQB style, in no way is it intended to detract from the TDQ. I have several TDQs, although the TTQB is still my choice for game play, I do throw with the TDQ quite often in scrimmages, need to build my comfort level up with the TDQ some more. I like a soft touch for TTQB passing, it suits my style better and I am more accurate as well as saving the life of my QB.
