Man I played this style about 6 months back. And you're right, it opens up your team for the big play. You can actually call a play and watch it develop as you planned. My only thing that turned me off was the fact that it took around 3 1/2 hours to complete, plus the guy I was playing against that night did not make it any better. I agree it is good, but but prefer my "Ball snap" format that we play in the DSEFL. To me football is football, no matter if its the NFL, CFL or Arena League (now there's a totally different format) I just love the game. My two cents!

Mich Joe. The Mpfl
Hey joe,
sorry, i thought you were talking about the shootout rules set. I have not played any competiton games yet under the mpfl but it will be no different time wise as any other style. The reason i am so high on it is because i was the first person to buy the dvd years ago at the miggle convention in baltimore. I have studied the style ever since. I did not join ant's league sooner because i was not sure if accepted weekend road warrior packages. But he does so that's why i joined as of now. as far as the stoppages. The misconception many have is you must use all four as the max. In reality, you can use just two or three if you like. If you have a ply developed where your running back can sweep left. you can adjust all your blockers after the first stop and run your play to completion. Joe, they way your bases run and how you have your qb rolling out, you would be devestating in this style mantaraydre
