Thanks for continueing to bump my thread.
Testors red ain't Husker red...am I right, Tom? I think the white they use isn't pure white either...I know Raiderman, I didn't think I would get this way, but when you have to play Tom on occassion it starts to effect you...Maybe, I should just make them into Chiefs like all my other teams but I have run out of good players from the Chiefs to do...Thigpen and Rocky Boiman just don't qualify yet.

According to the Nebraska Cornhuskers liscensing department the official colors are Scarlet and Cream. PMS color chart #186 is used for printing purposes.

Huskers
Believe it or not, when I did the Huskers I used Testors Red and Testors White. Don't tell Raiderman. I guess I get more anal with teams that have colors that vary so much in the spectrum (burnt orange, maroons, hunter greens, golds, etc).
When I look at their red, it really is pretty much baseline. I was pleased with how they turned out. Shaggy Pratt has them now and I don't think he's dissapointed with the authenticity look and feel. He's a corn-picker fan. |

Add a drop or two or three of Dark red to red. If the numbers were black, you could use regular red as the numbers would darken the look of the red. The numbers are white, so you would need to darken the red a bit.

Red
Where did you learn that theory Guttmann? Sounds familar.
I have no problem with the weird colors being picked apart. I do that as well. It was the time that you told me that the Badgers red was different than the Huskers red. THat's what sent me over the edge. Actually don't tell Tom but he made me more aware of the differences in colors out there and made me better at getting them closer to the real thing. RAIDERMAN
